Yes. Most guys will prefer and spend more money on thinner women.

Exactly. You can be bigger with a nice hourglass shape and still be fucken hot and make money. But being bigger with a fat gut and rolls is a different thing.

    LOL
Thats true but funny how you said it.

i do realize that most angles have been covered, but guccee girl, here are my two cents.

im a "bigger" girl, i am a size 9-10, 5'7" and 144 lbs. im nicely toned but when i started dancing, i was 160 lbs, and an 11-12, and i made out alright then. of course i make more now, but i seriously don't believe that has anything to do with the weight, i think it has to do with experience in selling dances and champagne/vip rooms. maybe losing the weight added to my confidence but honestly, it wasn't a necessity to be thin to make money.

i have seen many a girl who shouldnt be dancing, and you look fine (although it's hard to tell from the pics) compared to the last too fat to dance girl i saw roll through our club (whom emily nicknamed the sad clown, but she was a mess all around, no pretty face to save her, which you have) ... but i think losing the weight will up your confidence level as was already said... i say audition and see where you land?

    Love it!

Yeah do not believe the scales anyone...because that is so odd chrissy how you could weight 144 pounds and be 5'7 and wear a 9/10 when i am 5'3 and about 140 and wear a 5/6. Yeah, so girls do not freak out everyone has a different body type and carries muscle differently and also some stores run smaller than others. If you look good and feel good then that is all that should matter.

Thanks for the constructive critisism though.

    About the pics,
as soon as I get some they'll be posted.
I'm all curves, and I've been told many times
    I have a cute body.
I'm just now looking into this dancing thing
and I'm not quite sure how it works yet.

I used to be a runner,
so I'm working out like I'm traing for a marathon.
I also naturally have a lot of muscle.
I just need to tone up and lose some of my chunk.
I've been doing squats, jogging, swimming laps, and some yoga stretches.
Does anyone have any tips or ideas
on how I can lose fat but not gain to much more muscle
I know how you feel about the atheletic thing! I do triathalons, and am pretty muscle from the working out.

I'd suggest swimming or pilates for not bulking up, and still losing fat. And the old fav walking is also good.

Also I used to live in Indonesia.

Here's an opinion from the customer perspective: The SC I go to simetimes has chunky girls, some that I would describe as overly chunky. They're cute, they carry on great conversation, but what I hate are the lap dances. It HURTS when big gals climb on me and move around. I've even discussed this with my buddies to make sure I wasn't being a puss about it, and yes, they all agreed. My regular girl is 120 lbs, and she could literally do acrobatic stunts all over me and it wouldn't hurt a bit. Just keep this in mind when you create your lapdance routine.

That being said, there are guys out there that have a chunky fetish and you'd probably be surprised how much money you make. And if you can find a few regulars, hold onto them! You have nothing to lose by trying. Good luck.

GucceeGirl, if you want to lose weight, that's fine. But please, do it for you, because you want to be healthy and feel good about yourself.

Do not do it because someone over the internet said you were fat, or that girls over a certain size/weight shouldn't be dancing.

You can not please everyone. There is no such thing as a perfect body. What one man thinks is perfect, some other guy is not attracted to at all.

Losing 10 pounds in a week and a half is not good for you. Living on water, veggies and a few bites of chicken salad is not healthy.

Healthy weight loss is .5 pounds to 2 pounds a week. And muscle is good! It burns more calories even when your not working out, and even though it weighs more then fat, it is 1/3 smaller! So yes, it is possible to GAIN weight on the scale when your working out, but drop a pants size.

Take a few minutes to think about the mental/emotional aspect of losing weight. It is not all about the physical! You need to be healthy in mind and soul, as well as in body.

We all have this idea, that if we lose weight, everything else lines up and is also "perfect" and happy and wonderful. This is not true. Make sure you take care of the inside, as well as the outside. Keep track of what is driving you to lose weight. It's easy for simple things like diet and exercise to get out of control.

Workout a couple times a week. Eat 6 mini meals a day. Don't drop your calorie intake below 1400. Drink lots of water. When you slip up, don't beat yourself up. Move on and learn from your mistakes. Don't let the scale, or what other's say dictate how much you lose. Go by how you feel, and what your doctor says is healthy.

PM if you ever want to talk.

In your pictures, your very pretty. You could dance now, and you would make money, as long as you have confidence. Personality and self esteem go a long way in this business. It is not all about the body. You need substance on the inside to back it all up.

It's all about looking healthy. I think you can be any size you want so long as you have a toned stomach.

Vegas and New York ( where I am) are tough to compete in so you gotta look your best. i do suggest you lose weight this way you"ll be more confident and comfortable on stage. Good luck

I'm a size 13 and I'm one of the top money makers in my club. I think it all depends on what your boobs look like, bigger boobs balance a thicker girl like me out. if you're big with small boobs, it wont go over well.

So - did you try it or what? Let us know how it went! I suspect youre probably just fine the way you are! Confidence and personality is a really important factor! I'm a chick with no boobs, and these girls assured me it wouldnt really matter too much, money wise! And they were right!

As for diet, my best suggestion is to stay away from sugar and refined carbs.

If you have to ask then you are too big, sorry. Most dancers I work with including myself are sizes 0 to 3, I think the biggest girl we have is around a size 6 but I do work at a really busy club in ATL so your town might be different.

well that's not always the case, I constantly beat myself up over the small amount of fat im still trying to get rid of on the back of my legs wondering if i'm good enough when everyone tells me I'm fine. I guess it depends on the individual.

i think a stripper could be of any shape and size as long as their is "shape" and tone then it should be OK..

but at the same time, i dont think any ol woman cna just decide to strip if she decides too.. it's a business that requires women to have a certain look and appeal too...i dont think a dancer should have too much cellulite or flabby bits..

there is soemthing special about everyone...with me im 5'2 and a size 2..im short and i have had girls tell me im too chunky in the ass and legs..whereas men like that ..they dont all like straight up and down and very thin..some might like taller or shorter..cute and petite or more womanly and confident.. just as long as the girl looks like she takes care of herself and has pride in her appearance and is pleasant it shouldnt be a issue about weight/size/look..
