For "junk food" reading I LOVE Dean Koontz! I just have to remember that I won't be getting any sleep if I start one of his books late in the evening. I can't wait until his next Frankenstien novel hits the shelves.

    Davinci Code Rocked as well!

I really enjoy Michael Chriton, and just finished "State of Fear". Fun stuff!

Diana Galbadon has some cool novels. I like her "Outlander" series, but can't read too many of them in a row, as the story just gets repeative if I read more than one a year.

Catherine Colter has some cool stuff too, but I don't care for her "FBI married couple" series, though.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

"The Red Tent," by Anita Diamant, is the most fascinating book I've ever read. I love it.
"The Rapture of Canaan" by Shari Reynolds, also brilliant.

I've recently fallen in love with Nick Hornby; his latest two, "How to Be Good" and "A Long Way Down" are his best in my opinion. For sheer candy, I also love all the Harry Potter books. Basically I will read anything! I don't have a TV, I just like to read!

It tells a little bit about Nora Roberts alter ego JD Robb and the series she writes. The series is the 'In Death' series.. its kind of a murder mystery type seriers with a bit of a love plot. I cant really describe it. But anytime I pick up one of the books from that series I cant put it down until its finished. It all takes place starting in 2058 I think is the first one... its kind of neat how she envisions the future to be and murder mysteries and a homicide detective ends up falling in love with a billionair whos a murder suspect... bleh I cant describe it at all buts its really amazing. The sex scenes are rather in depth as well lol.
