    Default Nutritionist

So i'm really serious this time about getting in shape and eating 'clean'. I called and made a appointment with a nutritionist. Hopefully , they can make me up some meal plans and get me going.. i'm really excited! I feel proud of myself that i'm taking a healthy step. I just wish that they took insurance for a consulation... other than that..it's great! Do any of you ladies go to a nutritonist/dietician?

i never have but i research nutrition alot on my own. ive found (as a general bit of advice) that making 2-3 servings of which ever healthy food your into, makes it easyer to eat right. if im hungery ill go for what ever is easy, mostly proccesed food. but if i make a batch of salad or have some left overs ready, i dont have to worry about cooking while im starving. i know it sounds obvious but it made eating healthy much easyer for me.

okay, ive said this before, but its my biggest pet peeve, theres a big difference between a nutritionist and a dietitian... and dietitian must have passed tests, done a 1-2 year long intense internship, and had quite a few required classes... in some states, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist... so make sure you see a registered dietitian... you can look one up in your area at www.eatright.org which is the american dietetic association website.
