    Default help with my fat legs plz

    My legs have always been kind of chunky. Even when I was skinny, they were proportionally big.
    At the moment, I've got a couple of extra pounds, but I'm working on it, and even though I hired a personal trainer, and my legs do look much better, they still look chubby, and I'm afraid it'll take A LOT of work to make them look decent.

    Does anyone know what can I do to make them look nicer? A lot of guys tell me that they like my legs, but I'm really self-councious about them. They're not ugly, they're just kind of big for my body. I'm planning on switching clubs after getting the BA (in about 3 months), but I'm really gonna need to lose some more weight from my tights. I know you can't spot-reduce, but it's just gonna be so frustrating if after spending a lot of money on my boob job I find that I can't switch clubs because of my legs.
    Are there any foods I should avoid? I don't know, any tips will help. I don't wanna get a lipo, I can't afford it right now.

    Yoga!!! Yoga! Yoga! And bicycle riding uphill...plus stripping will tone them up once you start, don't skip stages when you start, use that time to learn grace, stage presence, and a paid workout!

    Your legs might stay thick but they will be muscular, and men love that!

    Have you tried weight lifting? there are a TON of leg exercise out there that'll help you out.. also try to make sure you're doing cardio 5-6 days a week (1 hour) if you're legs are really bad. Some other great cardio exercises for the lower body include: stair-stepping, step (the class), kickboxing (GREAT for entire body), running/walking up hills, inline skating

    ^ It is highly recommended that you do NOT do more than 30-40 minutes of cardio PER DAY.

    Your genetics make your body this way. Learn to accept it. Pilates and Yoga are great at stengthening muscles while keeping them long and lean. But, they only work to a point. Weightlifting will give you more bulk, but used in conjunction with Pilates and Yoga could be very good. There is nothing that is going to give you the "Angelina" thighs. You have thicker thighs. Work out, eat healthy and they'll look good. I have thicker thighs, as well (all proportionate and very well toned) and when I was dancing, the guys would go nuts over my legs.

    Just concentrate on being healthy and stop trying to change something you cannot change.

    Squats!

    There is a big misconception out there with women and weightlifting. Muscle is denser than fat, women also have a naturally higher body fat percentage than men. The result is that women who lift weights tend to get smaller.

    Do some squats!

    run run run.... lots of squats, the stepper, lift weights.. eat super healthy..

    I started yoga yesterday, and I've been also doing squats, and everything, but I was just afraid that they won't be ready in four-five months.

    Don't forget lunges. Use a chair to step up for extra resistance...

    I feel your pain, my legs are kind of thick, but it seems like the more I worked them the bigger they got. They used to be fat, but now they are lean and the same size....Like some of the other girls mentioned, its your body type, learn to love it! Plus alot of guys like that

    Highly recommended by whom? Most trainers and duch I have talked to tell you to do cardio for at least an hour a day (after the initial shock period of course).

    I'm just curious where that came from, since everyone I talk to says something different.

    I heard that the max you should do per day is 45 min. I heard this from a friend who is a personal trainer. She said that you burn calories at a much lower rate and you start to burn muscle as well after 45 min.
