    Default want 2tone hair/highlights but i'm a mommy...

ok, i am really liking the look of 2toned hair, like brown with whitish blonde underneath or highlights, or blonde with brown. and also, with a reddish marroon color. i'm thinking of having this done, but i'm a new mommy, and don't want to look innappropriate. i'm going to post some pictures of hair i like, what do you all think? is there a way to do it without looking innappropriate as a mom? my hair now is currently brown mediumish in color. so i would have to do brown allover with blonde highlights/underneath.

personally i dont think it matter what your hair looks like as long as you are taking care of your baby. but that is just me. HOw can you judge a mother based on her hair. I think whatevery ou deide to do with your hair will be ok and will not affect the baby.

    BTW congrats on your baby!

I don't think it matters what your hair looks like as far as being a mom. I love that kind of color and think both the pics look good. I have my hair sort of like the one on the right.

That first pic. is Forbidden off MySpace. I wrote her about the hair, she puts in extensions! She only ever dyed it dark under the bleached top! Which i think looks hot!

Buy clip ons in every colour! They have fake hair all over eBay! You are never too old to wear it.

Here is a cam shot of mine....but i said screw that (everyone is wearing that look in Fl, so i went all blonde) I now have clip on black instead of colouring it. Cheaper, saves the hair, and easy!!!!!

First picture i have 4 extensions under the blonde, kinda peeking through! Could add 8 more! They come in a pack of 12!!!

Second pic is my blonde hair...which i feel more comfortable in now..3rd pic is all blonded out!!! As of NOW....much lighter, and all over! have fun, play around...i am a mother too! It's fun

PS, you are NEVER to old to mess with "odd" colours in your hair imo!!!! I'm in my 40's!!!! i still mess with it!!!

The only thing that you really should consider when changing your hair during the early stages of "mommyhood" is how much time you will have to spend having touch-ups, etc done. My hair grows super fast, and so I grew the highlights out of my hair (took about a year) because I had blonde highlights and needed to get them touched up every 2 weeks to keep my hair looking good.

If you are comfy going to the stylist more frequently to do your hair, then go for it! If you are not wanting to do that, yet...then find a style that is a little less upkeep.

Have fun and post pics when it's done!!

you should rock the hot mom look!

the only people who will judge you are ugly moms who wished that they still had the guts to express them selves.

go for it, I have two-toned hair, not as noticable like the pics you posted, my underneath is chocolate brown, and the top is caramel w/ heavy honey-blonde highlights, make sure you choose the right blonde that matches your skin tone, or you'll look washed out
