    Default Starting - Orlando

I'm interested in starting stripping, and live in Orlando. After doing a little bit of research I've found out it's not a great area because of the rules, (no contact air dances and the most flesh you see has pasties over it?) and lack of clubs. Sound about right?

But since I'm starting out I don't know if I want to be making the commitment (and drive to cocoa) only to find it's not for me. Would it make sense to get some experience and test the water here in orlando, then go over to Cocoa after I've got more skill so I can get into a good club?

ALSO, if I do go about it this way what would be a good place to start? I've heard Rachel's is really the only good club around, but gown clubs are typically more difficult to get hired at right?

    Any info appreciated!

PS - do you need a liscence in this state/city?

Rachels might be ok if you're ready for the following.... Remember... it's in disney-country (read CONSERVATIVE). They don't have real poles, so no pole work. no floor work. Because of the strict contact rules, it's illegal to even shake the dude's hand if you're naked. (They are SO STRICT about their no contact it's not even funny.) You're not allowed to bend over. You dance way out in front of the guy. It is a gown club. If you have piercings besides ears, they make you take them out. They basically scare the shit out of you when they hire you. Oh... and if you have tatoos, they'll make you cover them up. Phew... My thinking is... why would a guy pay for an air dance that is performed three feet or more away from the guy?

    You don't need a license.

I'd consider a drive somewhere out of the area, but i'm lost to tell you where to go. Just thought i'd give you a heads-up on what I know about Rachels.

My best advice woud be to drive to Club Lido's in Cocoa Beach and just tell them you'd lketo try it out for a few ights to see if it's for you or not. I agree about Rachel's. They are very strict almost to a point of not being able to have fun. One horror story I've heard about the place and this is to be taken with a grain of salt....a dancer was ordered to go on a limo ride w/ a customer...when she asked the driver about what usually happens, he told her usually both parties go into the hotel or home and he waits outside. The girl refused to go and Mgr told her she'd be fired if she didn't go. I met her at her new club.

Orlando clubs aren't worth taking your clothes off for. Your dances are counted and you're expected to give a % of every dance you do plus do t-shirt dances (you pay for the shirt), other merchandise dances where you pay for the merch and dance twice as long for 1/2 the money **Club Lido does this too. Also you are expected to be on a schedule and YOU PAY THEM!!! If you don't mind dancing nude...what's really the difference anyway besides a small string covering up your coochie? Go to Tampa and try Mons Venus or 2001 if you feel confident enough. Good luck....Orlando isn't known for it's strip clubs. Most girls I knew in Orlando drove to Tampa to work even while they were in school. It's definitely worth the drive.

Do a search for Paige D. Winter here on this website. She's a dancer in the Space Coast area and can give you the scoop on Orlando/Cocoa/Melbourne, etc.

^^^They are so RighT. Take there word on that. Orlando is not really worth the time. That's probaly why all the clubs in that area pay the girls an hourly wage ($3.13) because you really don't make shit there!!! straight up.!!! what you do make, you end up giving it all to the house. But if you really want to make a living in orlando, I strongly advise you that you go elsewhere to work.

    Sad Re: Starting - Orlando

I used to work in a club right out of Orlando. I had to quit because I was sick, (mold from hurricane damage, never fixed) AND they never gave me enough time off. I made good money. It was bikini bottoms and you can get on the floor, and bend over.
But, no touching when your top is off. I was suprised how much money I made from vacationers, who just wanted to sit and talk to a pretty girl.
I want to go back, but I'm not sure which club to go to. ORLANDO/daytona? or the crap hole I started at.
    help?

From what I hear, Tampa is a place where you need to be a real hustler to make it. Lots of girls who are in a constant state of trying to get dances. A bit more hustle than I like, but thats just me. But yeah, here in Cocoa Beach we have Lidos. moderate contact, clean club, nice place. Decent money. If you dont mind a lot more contact and a lot of extras girls, there is also Cheaters and Inner Room.

I mentioned Lido's earlier simply because you are new to the industry and it's a clean club as well. The grls there arenice for the most part but you have to work too hard for your money there and ther's too many rules in my opinion. Dance prices are too high for what the guy receives and you have to lrun promotions andgive away dances and pay for t-shirts. This cuts into your earning potential becase the guys will wait if they know a special is coming up.
*Try Club Juana in Casselberry on 17-92. It's the best club in the Orlando area to work in, imo.

f you're realy looking to make a LOT of money and be flexible with your shift, I'll repeat definitely check out Mons Venus...if you are Mon material. If not, don't even waste your time.I've seen so many girls turned away becaues Mons Venus is very selective in who they hire. I honestly believe there is more money potential at 2001, which is located across the street from Mons and the club seems to be run more professionally in my opinion.
I say make the most of it and work where your earning potential is highest.

If you want to be included in all the money coming to Daytona over the next few months, I suggest finding a sutable club there now and get aquainted. The girls hate seeing new girls come in for those few weeks they live for each year and taking away from their money.
