    Back Injuries & Breast Augmentation

I am planning on a BA (Melonie talked me into it LOL) but I have some back problems from a car accident some years back- I have moderate pain frequently from these old injuries. I have noticed some women complain about the weight of the implants & the back strain. I'm very tiny so even a modest set of implants would be a noticeable increase of top weight.
Have any of you dealt with this? I know if I tell a plastic surgeon s/he will probably pooh-pooh my concerns in the interest of getting me to spend money- they're not responsible for complications from a pre-existing injury.

Let me add some info: I have spurs on vertabraes 4 & 5 (saw them on the X-Ray), my neck pops a bit, and there is calcification on my sternum where it hit the steering wheel. The chiropractor said the spurs came from the "hyperextended muscles" band around my ribcage. I can feel mild pain when I twist to reach for things, or when I'm doing a table dance (no kidding, folks.)
There is a surgery to "break down" the spurs with cortisone shots, but I need to pay for a very good surgeon who won't screw up sticking a needle in my back. I might do this before the BA to avoid extra back pain.

I think you should probably speak to a doctor about it. Like a back/neck doctor. See what they have to say about it.

As per weight... I dont feel any weight from implants... theyre not really heavy (unless you go BIG) They FEEL heavy the first week or so but thats just pressure from sticking a big bag in your boobie.

My best advice is to keep a eye on youre posture - my back hurts alot but I also have noticed that my posture isnt that great and when I do make sure my posture is good then things are better.

A surgeon that overlooks something like that is asking to be sued... just make sure you show and tell. (With x-rays)
