    Default Shaving Defeat

Maybe you guys can help me. I dont have this problem anywhere else BUT my armpits. I when I shave then, I make sure to shave at all diffrent angles to get hair from every different angle. I have tried many razors, all of the ones claming to be the best, Schick,Venus,Intuition, etc. No matter what razor, cream, etc. I use it never looks completely hair free! I will shave and try to get it smooth looking and finish and it still doesn't look like Ive shaved sometimes. I have that tiny stubble that no razor will get close enough to get to make it look like Ive shaved and I end up cutting myself from trying to get rid of it.I have that dark shadow that makes it look like I haven't shaved either

I'd get it lasered..then you'd never have to worry about it.

I have this problem too and I've seriously considered getting it lasered off. I'm naturally light-skinned and I have dark hair, so it stands out even more. So I'm leaning towards getting it lasered. My skin is too sensitive for nair, plus that crap is a pain in the ass to use (for me at least).

I don't think it's too bad, maybe a couple hundred. I've heard it feels like little tiny rubber bands popping you. You do have to go in for a few sessions though to make it all gone. If your gonna do, now is the time to look into it. They are usually having specials right now since it's winter...plus if you do it now, it'll be ready for summertime!

If I had the money, I'd laser my entire body from the neck down! lol I HATE shaving!!! My husband (and I) prefer me bare, it's getting to be a pain in the ass having to deal with razorburn and stuff..

My chest is the same way(I shave it in the summer cuz phx is fuckin wicked hot), never looks smooth and if I keep shaving until it looks smooth I end up with the worst razor burn ever

occasionally (and I'll get neck cramps from doing it, so if you have a friend that you're that close to, ask) I'll pluck as much of my armpit hair as possible. Obviously you have to watch for ingrown hairs, but you don't have to wait as long to wax them, and I think occaisionally doing it makes the hairs thinnger. Plus, I always find spots where I had ingrown hairs but had no idea because I'd shave without really looking closely.
Lasering is the first choice, but until then, this might tone down that five o'clock shadow.

Have you tried an underarm wax? I did it before because I was sick of ingrowns, and it worked pretty well.

the jenna jameson book says "using Neosporin instead of shaving gel helps reduce shaving bumps" (10. you say it's just thick hair that's the issue but maybe this tip will help you get a closer shave?

I know I'm going to surprise some people with this, but I actually rather like that "five o-clock shadow" look in an attractive woman's armpits. Sure, call it for what it is, a fetish. I can't explain it, it just is.

so you guys are saying that lasering would take away the "five o-clock shadow"? I ask because sometimes I have it super bad, and other times I don't, but I rather just get rid of it forever.
