Default how do you deal with this

    ok,
    I have another question
So new to dancing- one concern I have.
Do you all ever bump into customers out and about? I fear that one day I will be with my daughter (she's too little 11 months) and I will see some guy in a grocery store who I danced for. How do you handle that? Or how about a guy coming into the club you know from school or somewhere else or a friend of your boyfriend.
Any advice you have would be great

Most custys probably aren't going to come up to you and be all loud and say "hey, you're that stripper i saw naked last night!" There are a few that may do that, but if you didn't want to admit it in the middle of the grocery store or wherever you were, you could just say something like, "no, i don't think so, you must be mistaken, I get that alot, maybe i have a twin I didn't know about." Or something like that, or admit it, but say that you would appreciate it if he would not appraoch you in public.

As far as the boyfriend's friend thing, hopefully your boyfriend knows that you dance, that way he can tell his friend not to go to your club if he, or you, for that matter, would be uncomfortable with him seeing you naked!

    Good Luck!

if a customer/patron is dense enough to come up to you in public, it's best to play dumb or give a look like "what the fuck are you thinking?" should you be in this situation. in terms of seeing people you know in the club itself...that might be unavoidable if you work in an area that you grew up in. i learned this the hard way when i saw my highschool swim coach gazing up at my breasts years ago....keep an eye out when dancing and don't be afraid to hide in the VIP or dressing room if you see someone you'd rather not. but, ultimately, these situations are rare, so rest assured!

When I have seen dancers outside of the club I give them a knowing smile and they usually return. It's kind of like a "hi" with both of us not saying anything. Unless he is an asshole, he will respect your privacy. I think if you don't give him the knowing smile, then he may try to talk to you or say something. Just my thoughts.

Thank you all so much for the advice! I feel sooooo much better. You all are so great! I appreciate everything. I actually didnt grow up here- in hollywood, ca to be exact. So i know my chances of seeing people are slim but not none. I know a lot of them come in from hollywood on weekends but after hearing your advice I feel better.

Having just hit a SC tonight for a few beers and just the view (yes I did tip) I can tell you I would not recognize any of the 5-6 dancers I saw in another enviroment. I was there to enjoy the view, have a few beers and wind down from a long day of home remodeling.

I see customers out in public once in a while, and they are the ones who are usually trying to hide themselves, or they won't directly look at me and avoid me. It's especially funny if they are out with their wives. They look so scared that I'm going to go up and talk to them. Hilarious. I've only had one problem when I ran into a custy at the doctor's office and he wouldn't leave me alone, but he's always been kinda stalker-like in the club, so I guess he just doesn't know boundaries. But you really shouldn't have any problems with running into customers in public. They usually are hoping that you don't recognize them, so they probably won't say anything to you.
