    Default Reno & licensing

I remember a past thread saying that one had to pay approx. $500 for a license to work in Reno...I was just wondering if any of the clubs will let one work w/o a license or if they had some sort of temporary license that one could purchase. I'm sure this is a far stretch but I just thought I'd check.

I worked at the Spice House w/o a full license and only a permit back in 2002. Since I was under 21 I couldnt hustle people at the bar and of course I couldnt drink. Its a high mileage VIP upstairs.

Honestly, I wwould get your whole license. Im sure youd get in big trouble if vice found out. Better safe than sorry.

I have heard that Wild Orchid lets girls work a few days w/o a license in order for her to get the money for one. You might want to call and check. Honestly, I think you'd be more likely to get that deal if you showed up in person and were hot but *shrug*.

Spicehouse is now Diamond Jack's which is owned by a brothel owner so the city sort of breathes down their neck these days. As such, I wouldn't expect them to be as lenient on licensing. Fantasy Girls is strict about the license deal and Men's Club seems to be too. In fact, Men's Club is the only one I know of that demanded to *hold on to* my license so I couldn't work at any other clubs.

The bulk of the license fees, the sherriff's card, is good for 5 years so once you have it it isn't so expensive year to year. The Business license is dependent on what you claim as income and the tax license is a flat $100 fee. If you hit the places in the right order it isn't a big time inconvenience to get the necessary paperwork.
