Default When strippers say nice things to a customer

Well I was wondering sometimes strippers will say nice things to you like you are cute etc... I can never tell if they mean it or not because there is always the thought in the back of my mind that she may just be saying what I want to hear so to stroke my ego and get me to come back again.

Is this a normal part of hustling? I mean it'd be easier for me to tell if I was butt ugly because then it'd be more obvious.

Strippers are at WORK when they are at the club.
They are not there to date you.
They are not there to have sex with you.
They are there to make money.

This does not mean that they can't enjoy your friendship or company in a genuine fashion, but it does mean that they are there to make you feel good and benefit from that financially. There have been times when I've told a customer that he was cute, and usually, I mean it to some degree. There is usually some aspect of his appearance or personality that I can find somewhat attractive for the time we are spending together. It doesn't mean that I wanted to take him home with me, but it just means that I can compliment him and make him feel good.
I can't look a really ugly guy in the face and tell him he's hot. I will find some part of his anatomy that isn't ugly and compliment him on it.
Then again, attractiveness is an objective thing. What is really sexy to someone may be a total turn-off to another.

^^^ I agree. I can't outright manipulate or lie heinously. I figure it this way according to a maxim: women look in a mirror and think they look worse than they really do, men look in the mirror and think that they look better than they really do. For the men, I just play up something that may not be overwhelmingly attractive but is cute in it's own way. I'm just like that mirror--I can't turn you into Brad Pitt, but I can make you look a little better than you really do.

    Fancygirl. Well put.

HeavyD: You're going to have to make this distinction for yourself bro. There just isn't enough information to decide and even if there were mountains of it, you'd have to decide for yourself.

But, hey...did it feel good? CAUSE THAT is what makes it all worth it

I imagine some girls do this specifically as a form of hustling.

Myself, I was always one to just sieze upon one or two truly positive traits, and make it clear they were appreciated.

I'm of the opinion that if you tell a lie or half-truth when complimenting a person, they'll smell the insincerity just like animals smell fear.

Personally, I don't go around telling every guy I talk to I think he is cute or attractive or whatever just to get them to come back or tip more. Although I will definitely be flirty with customers, I can't just go up to anyone and say hey youre cute! To me, it's kind of cheesy and unoriginal.

Stop worrying about what they think of you, especially with regards to things like whether you are "cute" or not.

Recently i've changed my looks a bit...cut my hair short, shaved my sideburns, started to wear clean shirts and some sexy ass jeans and cut back on wearing my 3 or 4 pairs of black pants with the pockets everywhere and the t-shirt over the long-sleeved shirt kind of look bla bla bla...hey why don't i just cut to the fucking chase already ?!

Anyway, i've noticed that some dancers notice me more and some even start to pay attention to me again which makes me laugh.I've gotten a lot of compliments but i can't take it all seriously or else i'd start to think that all the ladies in the joint are checking me out...oh those illusions of grandeur.

Sure i'd lie if i were to say that i don't like the attention though but i don't have any difficulty getting over myself.

Its their job. Your looks are a minor issue as long as you have money to spend. As long as the bucks continue to flow, they will make you feel like a studmuffin.

Doesn't matter if she thinks you're related to Brad Pitt or Quasimodo so long as you're spending. If what you're really asking is, "How do I know if she's interested in me," the answer is always the same: the dancer will express her interest in no uncertain terms.

What if you're related to both?

Seriously, my family tree stopped forking at brad pitt.
