    Default Who has it bad?

Ok, so I know pretty much everyone has some stretch marks, but what I want to know is How many dancers out there have some pretty bad ones? And what the heck is with them being so irredescent? It's like in one light, you can barely see them, in another theyre dark looking, in another you can see them, but they're skin colored with indentations. Is this ever going to go away, at least a lil. It's been a year since I had my daughter(her bday is tomorrow!!) and I feel like they couldnt have fully faded yet!

Also, are the club lights REALLY going to make them not noticeable. Is there a certain light color combo that should be used?

Mine have never been noticable in the club...I saw them on this one girl, but I was tipping her so I was close and could see them. They're not a big deal, cutys dont care.I have a lot on my butt and some on my breasts and most of the time people dont believe me when I say I have them because they've never seen them!

I have little ones over my behind....no one has ever said anything, but I have a medium skin tone so maybe they blend in under dim light......I recommend greenstick & Dermablend, and maybe irridescent skin-toned powder or spray over that, like what Sally Hansen sells for legs.

I don't know....putting dermablend on your hips/butt seems like a bad idea. It'll rub off on the customers.

I have them on my hips, and I always look on stage to see if they're noticeable- they're not.

But it depends on how 'fresh' yours are- I think when they're still red they would be. Mine are white lightning-bolt thingies, and blend into the rest of my skin under stage lights. But my red marks, like scars on my legs & stuff, do show up.

Well mine are pretty wide and some are deep, thats why I'm nervous...they're only underneath my belly button though, and they don't go the whole way to my hip

Any costume suggestions to help keep them covered?

I'm more nervous about when I'm dancing for a custy than the stage. I've never actually been in a SC so I don't know if the lighting is the same everywhere or what.

you could wear tiny skirts, booty shorts or those garter belts that cover your hips

Thanks Emily. Not too concerned with my hips, like I said they're only on my belly, but those were good suggestions! I'm definitely into those booty shorts...they make my ass look real good hehe!

Its usually waaay too dark for a custy to see them during a LD. And they're usually so entranced/stupified by you to be too observant.

Lol, that's funny Corsica, but sadly true I'm sure. I bet women custy's would notice, prolly wouldn't say anything though. I guess that all depends on the woman though...some would prolly sit there and point them out to her husband(in a mean way) to make herself feel better. **Sigh** Women!

I wouldn't worry. I have quite a few on my breasts and hips from puberty, and none have ever been noticable. I even have this BIG scar on my leg and it is practically invisible too. If you are worried self tanner works better than dermablend. I tried that stuff on the scar and it just made it worse. It will blend away any discoloration, but seemed to accent the difference in texture that makes scars and stretch marks a prob.Jasmine

I tried the Dermablend once at a dept. store, and it looked horrible on me. None of them blended into my skin tone right...I'm gonna try to get a spray tan at a tanning salon. Does anyone else go to a salon to get it done? How long does it last?
