    Default Miracle diet drink

I've seen this stuff all over but I have no idea if it's really good. It's a drink called Noni juice. I checked out this site www.noni.com and they say it boosts your metabolism, gives you energy, and boosts the immune system. Does anyone have some experience with this polynesian miracle fruit juice?

I picked up a bottle at the Vitamin Shoppe for like $5. I think its supposed to promote over all health , I wasn't really sure. I didn't really notice much after I took it. I do remember that it was some of the nastiest tasting stuff I've ever tried.

I'm going to say this one last time. Nothing on the market can boost your metabolism. If you want to boost your metabolism, you have to do it through proper nutrition and exercise. That's it. What these products do is boost your heart rate...which is completely different.

Was it medicine-y kind ofnasty or something else. Maybe it's better cold? Did you lose any weight while you took it?

Not medicine-y, more like "earth-y" - it wasn't good. If you're thinking about buying it to lose weight, you can save your money, it's not worth it. I would compare it more to like a fruit/veggie drink in terms of effectiveness.

That's true. The best thing you can do to "speed" your metabolism is to eat right and exercise daily.

And plus, that shit makes you speed everything up, like (what Venus said) it speeds your heart rate, and your nervous system which in turn makes you move more quickly which is where they get "speeding your metabolism up". Alot of this stuff they put in diet pills now is like legalized speed.

Exercise is much healthier. There is no magic drink or drug that's going to peel pounds off.

With all due respect, I'm trying to find out individual users' reactions. It's important to me to do everything I can to reach my goals as efficiently and safely as possible. Just because some products work to raise your heart rate ALL weight loss and healthy supplements don't. That's the point of asking for reactions. I have the right to ask for reactions. That information educates. So please don't assume noni's effects. If you've got first hand experience to share lay it on me! Afterall, people have gone from a life expectancy of 35 years to 80 years because of substances and tecniques discovered and developed year in and year out. Don't worry that we're wasting our time or money or risking our health because bad reports nip that possibility in the bud.

Sounds alot like this company. I bought some from the Via Viente group and it was basically a liquid supplement. At $127/month for 3 bottles and them calling me to "join" and start telling people about how much I liked it (basically promotuing it) I cancelled my monthly order.

You can get the same benefits from noni or any other supplemtn by taking vitamins and eating right. Only exercise and healthy eating can boost metabolism. Good sleep helps too. Dont waste your money on this and hit the gym instead.

Oh, I'm already doing that. I do 45 minutes or cardio 3 times a week and stick to a Zone style regimen. I'm a size 6. I have long hair and I still take biotin for God's sake! I just love improving my efficiency.

Maybe it's just me but any time I see the word "miracle" used to describe a pill/cream/product that will make you lose weight, give you a giant cock/huge tits, whatever, I tend to think it's a load of crap.

I've known a couple people to swear by noni juice, not for losing weight though. They just thought it was super healthy or whatever and kept them from getting sick. Honestly, I would guess it's largely a placebo effect.

When I heard Madonna was on a miracle diet I thought it was bullsh*t. And then I tried it and I've been able to stay lean living on the regimen for years. I know what you mean about fads though because a girl at work did Phen-fen and looked fabulous until... So you know how that goes Sirona, win some, lose some. So far it doesn't sound like the miracle drink they say it is on the noni site.

I finished half a bottle when my parents, who were selling it for $50 a bottle, gave me one to try. I didn't notice any difference, but was hoping to. Unless you have something wrong with you, it would definitely be hard to notice any changes in your body. My dad was taking half a cup per day, which is quite a bit, and ended up having diarrhea. I think it is more of an antioxidant maybe? Either way I wasn't sold, and still have half a bottle in my fridge.

I used to work at a hotel and they had their weekly meetings there. I guess it contains some really nasty ingredient... but I can't recall what it is. I don't mean to say this to offend anyone. But, the majority of people who worked for the company and who were buying the stuff were Black. I think something in it is primarily beneficial for Black people, I don't know.. I'm not sure. It's a pyramid scheme and I always thought it seemed a little bit shady.

Were they skinny Black people? <ha ha ha> Otherwise, it smells like Amway to me.
