    Smiley Dancing in Iceland

    Hi
I'm thinking about going to work in Iceland this summer, I heard from some girls it was very good and I was wondering if somebody knows the clubs there, how it works and which is the best period to be there.
    thanx

I heard that this is a very lucrative area for women of color. Simply because most ppl there are blond haired blue eyed.

Since you are neighter Lunetta, I will say GO FOR IT anyway! There is an agency, but at the moment I can't think of the name. I will find it for you and post it.

^ http://www.laptastic.co.uk/ - I believe CK is talking about the Laptastic agency. They are based in the UK but they take on girls from all over. I would recommend them as they are a reputable company.. my cousin is currently working for them, she is working at Larry Flint' s Hustler Club in Paris.

The guy who own's the agency is really cool, his name is Jason. You can call him on 001 44 16 1256 0768 or call his cell on 011 44 7831 880218 ...if you prefer to email him though, email him at [email protected]

Yes I know this agency, but I go by myself. I had contact with the manager and he's fine with that, so I will go this friday and I'll stay 5 weeks
... I have very light skin, but not blonde and no blue eyes
Any last tips before I go?

    Good luck, Lunetta!
I hope you'll report back on your experience there. I seem to recall meeting a girl (about 7 years ago) who had worked in Iceland and said that it was the best experience of her life.....but I also seem to recall talking to another girl who worked there and said that it sucked. It may have been a seasonal issue (I'm guessing summer would be the time to go). Unfortunately, I can't recall any of the details, but I was always intrigued by the idea of dancing there.
Have fun and please let us know how it goes!

Iceland is apparently good but like a lot of places, not as good as it used to be. I dance with a lot of girls who've danced there a while ago and recently who tell me this, but they still say money can be made. Black girls are generally more popular there but other races still do particularly well (so I hear).

Iceland is an expensive country and you may be expected to pay taxes if you decide to work there. The cost of living is quite high (typical feature of Scandinavia) so make sure to look after your expenses carefully so you get the most out of your earnings.

It is also important to mention that you will have to talk and drink twice as much as you dance to earn your money. Conversation and champagne sales are a big feature of strip clubs there and the girls I know used to tell me that they had to consume so much alcohol. Tied in with long club hours, it might be a task. A tip to avoid drinking so much in clubs like this is to pour your alcohol from your glass into the ice bucket or a nearby plant or tip the champagne bottle upside down into the ice bucket just before it's empty (quite a common thing girls do, but be careful how you do it and don't rip the guys off too much by wasting too much alcohol). Also try and make sure you get your sleep during the day while you can so you stay fresh. But see what you make of it, I hear it can have its ups and downs.

Which club are you going to work in? I inquired about work in Odal a while ago and was due to go this month but circumstances prevented me doing so.

Whatever you choose to do, good luck!!

    Smiley Re: Dancing in Iceland

Hey thanx everybody for the posts !!!!

I go to club Odal, I already took arrangement with the manager and I can stay in the appartment of the club too... so my only expence is my food, unless I hear is extreamly expensive anyway (... I was reading a post of a girl who was saying to bring even some food from home )

About the champagne thing I knew it before, I'm used to work in Europe and everywhere is the same I know many triks to throw away the champagne otherwise I would be drunk everynight and super fat .

I just don't want to go to any extras club, too much concurrence, I can not handle it, for the rest I hope it will be good also if I'm not black A friend of mine (blonde/ blue eyes) worked there 4 years ago and made very good$$$... but it was a while ago so that's why I was looking for fresh infos .

Anyway I go this friday ... 15C right now in Reykjavic... so cold!!!!!!!!!!! ... but it was 18C in Holland ... maybe I can handle it... but I would prefere some warm place at least in the summer

Girl, good luck. Iceland does resemble its namesake and is COLD!! Don't forget your winter woolies. PLEASE let me know how you get on because I still want to go to Odal so ANY current info is invaluable to me too because once I sort out my present situation, I want to go.

About the food thing, take food with you!! LOL. When I went to Scandianvia, I noticed food is markedly more expensive than other European countries. However, if you earn good enough money, it shouldn't be a massive expense. Just don't eat out too often (or if you do, make sure someone else is paying!!)

Have a safe time and post or PM me your progress if you can.

Remember to buy some vodka for your hosts. Alcohol is super expensive in Iceland and they will love you for it.

    +hi everybody+1

+++iīm fine... but didnīt have that much time to come to the internetcafé... too expensive here... 11hours is 60 dollars....

+there are so many girls here and more are coming soon
+you must have a lot of luck and really run to all the men who come in and push them to buy you drinks, to buy pvt dances and of course tip you+1. +all the dances money and champagne money are kept from the club and you get them at the end and on this money you also pay icelandic tax... +i still donīt know how much is this icelandic tax, but +i think a lot . +so during your stay you must manage to buy your food with the tip that custumers give you... but of course you donīt have tip everynight...so you really must save+111

+money is not extremly gr8... +i make the same and even better in +belgium... but here +i work everyday so thatīs why at the end +i will have more. +some girls worked here years ago and they say before it was much better and much less girls... so donīt exspect something extremly gr8... +anyway +i īll leave a revieuw when iīll be back...

    Hi Luna,

It's good to hear from you. Can you handle the cold weather?
It sounds like Iceland is a quite expensive place :/ I hope the money gets better!

I could not handle it!!! Too little money!!!! ... after tax you have nothing left!!!

I'm very disappointed! It seams that in Europe there are no good places for work.

I left a revieuw of the club if somebody interested.

    Sorry about that girl.

That doesn't sound too good. I knew that it had gone dowhill a bit (like a lot of places nowadays), but no idea it'd be that bad! Maybe it was also due to the fact it was the summer season (people are holidaying etc). Winter might be a good time when the natives are back in the country and suffering SAD and want to go out to the clubs for escapism. I definitely know that winter time is normally good here, especially at Christmas when everyone wants to spend their Christmas bonuses.

Just curious - were there ANY girls making money? How big is the club and how many girls did they put on per shift? If there are any other details you can share about the club and it's method of operation, that'd be cool.

If you still want to try Europe, I hear that Germany is quite a good place to work. I've spoken to a girl who used to work in the Dollhouse in Munich and she said it was great. However, I don't know what it's like nowadays.

Still, sorry to hear about your experience all the same.

I live in Europe and I've been in many places... everywhere it's bad, it's totally other money than in the states.
I will check Munchen as my parents live 3 hours driving from there, so if I don't like it I can still drive back

In Iceland they put too many girls. One shift is 3 hours during the week and 9 in week ends, if the shift finish and your customer wants to stay he can buy vip and stay extra.
In one shift doesn't matter week or week end there are at least 15 girls and up to 20 and the club is too small for this ammount of girls. First floor there are maybe 40-50 sits... so half are taken from the girls I think itīs something like 60/70 mē downstairs and upstairs same.

The girls make all the same more or less... it can be that you have one `good` evening and you earn more than $100... thatīs what is considered good! One evening I had about $250 fabulous! But many girls go home many time with 0! Letīs say that all evenings there are 1 or 2 who make $100 or more, 3/4 make 20/50$ and the rest, so at least 10 go home with 0!!!! I had 0 just once in 2 weeks but Iīve seen girls having 0 many times. Itīs about luck, if a customer come in and sit next to you immediatly and get you drinks and dances you can make some money, otherwise they go by the bar and there are 10 girls at least going to him immediatly and or he will get scared and leave or choose one of the 10!
I saw one rumenian girl earning good money because she had a customer who fell in love with her and he was coming everynight to give her $$$ to send to rumenia and drinks. So in one month she had something like 4000$... but itīs not fabulous for me... in Belgium I can make same even more and sleep in my bed.
Consider also that there you spend a lot of money to buy food and necessary staff... but really a lot!!! I brought all cosmetics from home and even some soups and snacks and still just for food at least $100 per week and the cheapest ever!
One girl told me in the winter is better, but not extreamly better! There were just slovakian and rumenians, the only EU girls, one English and one German, also left because itīs no money!!!

For me itīs wrong that the club put so many girls, they donīt give any salary ( because I have a company, so Iīm supposed to declaire my income and pay tax in Holland, or I can get hired but just if they give me salary... every club gives salary in EU!!!) and STILL we must pay accomodation!!!
They know that itīs quite and itīs difficult to sell dances which look expensive to tourists. After all this we MUST pay Icelandic tax which is a lot!!! So you make little $$$ and on this little you even must pay so much tax!!!
They just use girls, Icelandic people are payed much more even to work in McDonalds... thatīs also why youīll never see any icelandic girl working in there!!!

Then try in the winter...summer was really bad.

One Basilian girl which I met there told me that in the winter was a bit better, but I was chatting with her 2 weeks ago and she told me it still didn't pick up...

Maybe you could try other clubs. Maxime should be also in reykjavick but it's a extras club and Club Casino in Keflavik by the airport maybe is better as there are many people who wait in Keflavick all night before to take a plain to of from US... but I never heard anything about it, so I can not promise anything.
