    please help with implant info!!!

hi-hoping someone out there has some info for me.
I've been told that pole dancers who have implants below the muscle can have them distorted to a funny shape and they're better in front of it
does anyone have any experience with pole dancing while having the implants behind the muscle-many thanks for any help you can give me!!!

are you talking about capsular contracture or rippling?

that can happen with any placement, but it's more likely with over the muscle, actually.

It is true that implants placed submuscularly become distorted when your pec is flexed. Not permanently, but when you're using that muscle then yeah your boob gets a funny shape.

no-i was told that the muscle over the implant can 'squish' the implant into a funny shape when the muscle is working ie when pole dancing-thanks!

HJ--Yea, if your implants are partially under or fully under the muscle they can contract into a weird shape when you flex your chest muscles during pole work. Mine are partial unders and look funny when I am giving table dances because I use my arms to support myself. But overs are only for some people. I would ask your plastic surgeon what placement is best for you because the implants will last a lot longer than your job dancing and you should get them for you, not because you think they will make you more money.

No, its not really that noticeable--no guy has ever said anything about it anyway. I don't do pole work but another girl at my club with implants does and she just keeps work on the pole minimal and mostly with her legs.

    resurrection time:

Does that gross feeling when they move when you do pole work ever go away? How would you know if you are doing pole tricks to soon? Is there pain, soreness etc?

I had unders originally, and had them redone to over the muscle because of the 'shape distortion' issue when doing pole work or doing arm strength moves on stage.

    Hi there.
From what I've heard, how long you should wait before starting pole work depends on where the implant is placed and what type you had and you should talk to both your surgeon and other people before starting pole work. (if in doubt-wait a bit longer!!!) Also if it hurts or it's uncomfortable it may be too soon even if the time you had to wait is up. I had silicone implants above the muscle and on the advice of my surgeon and pole dance teacher I waited 10 weeks before starting on the pole again. At first the feeling was uncomfortable but once i got a proper sports bra it was ok. that was 5 weeks ago and now it doesn't bother me to dance on the pole without clothes/bra. The other thing is I had to start slowly to build up my strength again.

    hope this helps
