I am currently using Napster to download and burn music. They charge 10 bucks per month and 1 buck per song. It's safe and legal. Any other sites that are safe and legal but with a better selection and prices?

I use LimeWire. It's free and legal. www.limewire.com check it out![]()

Uhhhhh...actually Limewire is free and ILLEGAL. You're downloading pirated music with it.
I wasn't aware that napster charged per song in addition to their monthly fee. I thought the whole idea behind them was you could download as much as you wanted for one price per month. At least that's what their ads on TV said when comparing themselves to Itunes.

Ooops... but you have the choice to also pay a monthly fee for another version of it. Isn't that one legal?
I think you mean Limewire Pro. I think it's a one-time fee, but it's still not legal. The Pro version just makes your searches faster and gives you some extra options. You really don't even need to pay for that--just search ON Limewire for it. Heh.
yeah very true! thats how i got my pro and my b/f pro
10 CENT songs on www.mp3search.ru
if you get the russian version when you click, just look at the very top corner on the left side and click on the american flag.
They have a LOT of stuff! 10 Cents per song, or you can buy the whole album and get 10%off

Deep Thoughts: By Jack Handy
If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting!
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

With Napster, the monthly fee does allow you to download as many tracks as you want to your computer. HOWEVER, the tracks are downloaded in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format, and if you want to burn your tracks to MP3, or onto a CD, you will need then need to "buy" the tracks individually, which is where the $0.99/ea charge greenidlady mentioned comes in.Originally Posted by DancerWealth
