Just wanted to give a quick thanks to all the DJ's, dancers and even the customers on this forum.
I was thinking of leaving the current industry I'm in and start DJ'ing in strip clubs. I went to audition in a downtown Los Angeles club and, despite my having good taste in music, got the job!
I know that I couldn't have done it without the expertise and advice from this forum, so big thank you to all those who helped me out.
Of course after all of that I regretably got a great offer in my other industry and did not go back to the club after the audition. Seems like whenever I try to do something else I get something dragging me back into my other job even deeper. More than likely I saved myself a lot of embarassment though. The DJ gig is not just about hitting play or switching songs. More respect for you guys.
Enough of the cyber-group hug. Thanks.
