    Default Weak Legs

I have weak legs because I never work out. After dancing to two songs on stage in those shoes you can really start to see my legs giving out on me! I mean they really start to shake and I cant hold poses for long at all. Its sooo embarrassing. Has anyone else had this problem?

No... you answered your own Q... almost everyone here works out in one way or another. So why be so lazy? Why dont you try working out? Go for jogs... do leg stretches... PRACTISE walking in your heels and doing stuff at home. Its pretty much a no brainer on how to fix it

When you do muscle building exercises you dont have to worry so much(about weight loss), as long as you eat right and have a high carb diet. Doing leg presses wont make you lose weight. Or even something as simple as standing on stairs you keep your toes on the edge of the stair, hold the rail and lift yourself up and down by your toes(am I explaining this well?) it builds up your calf muscles. Or go for walks with ankle weights. You need to build leg muscle to dance around in 6 inch heels.

And also the more you dance, the stronger your legs and the rest of your muscles will get. Just takes time to get in shape but working out and stretching will definitely speed up that process.

Do twenty squats and twenty pushups, then eat a bunch of protein.

If this is too hard to complete, do what you can, then eat a bunch of protein. Protein foods include meats, eggs, cheese, beans, tofu, nuts, etc, etc.

Don't bother doing cardio if you're underweight, just work out your muscles. Ever seen people lifting weights at the gym who look like skinny noodles? Don't worry, you won't get huge either, women don't produce that much testosterone, which is what promotes large muscle growth.

    http://www.stumptuous.com has some good advice.

When I started working out more frequently, I put on 15lbs in about 4 weeks. That was just running, situps, and pushups.

Cally has the right idea. Legs are one of the sexiest parts of the body that a man will be looking for in a dancer. If you can build your legs it will increase your pay out im sure. Besides legs i would have to say eyes and your carisma but if you dont have carisma your lost from the begining. The stair exercise is a good idea. The ankle weights on the other hand i would not do because carrying weight around the ankles while walking may affect your knees in the long run.
I just got back into working out recently i need to get back in shape looking into being a dancer and what not. The main thing if you do not want to get skinny exercising and want to gain muscle is the proper diet. If you have questions go to bodybuilding.com there is great information there with supplements workouts and diets that will help you out good luck ma and keep us updated on how your doing.
