    Default customer or doctor? help?

SO.... more drama from Elle if anyone cares to read.

About a month ago a doctor came into my work stressed out that his wife had cheated on him and that their relationship was in shambles.

So i treated him to about 2 hours in the champagne room to talk about his troubles and get his mind off of things.

Well, i was researching medical day spa's and he happens to be the owner of one in the area. This guy has been emailing me for quite a while trying to get in contact with me but I am not interested in him on that level and I think that is clear to him now.

Buttt.... Would it be wrong for me to ask an old friend for a discount on restylane?

I see no problem asking for a discount. Its business you helped him out even if he says know at least you tried. No harm done

Did he get a discount from you when you were dancing from him? Are you going to discount him the next time he comes in?

    I dunno, I'm seeing it double standard-y.

just email him and say "hey, I was looking up this clinic and saw it's yours. I'm thinking about getting a procedure done," and see if he offers.

so his wife left him but works at his clinic still? That is the second thing like that I've heard this week. The other is an atty whose ex works as his secretary.

If you had a real, professional relationship with him, then it would be appropriate. But you saw him once, he paid for his "treat", and you never responded to his emails. You didn't develop the relationship at all, and I'm not talking about personal here. If I was him, I would be miffed too, unless I'm missing something.

Besides, you're too young for Restylyne!

    rest injected into my lips.

He emailed me from another one of his screen names saying his secretary sent that message. Then told me to only use this alternate email and that yes he would do it for cost.

Yea.... I think i am going to book somewhere else and stay far far away.... Situation just doesn't feel right.

I would stay away from him....really. Just keep him as a customer!

You gave your email. Why? You don't email him back, and giving an email sends a message that you are interested on some level. You are thinking about asking this guy for a discount for plastic surgery?

In my book that is just wrong. Very wrong.

Find another doctor. Keep him as a customer. EMAIL the guy at least once so he will continue to spend $$$$$ at work, so he actually will be paying for the surgery!!!!! Just not performing it

PS i see the message you posted....i was thinking about the situation on the board here, and that is just wrong as you know.

    Good luck,

    Pamela

I gave him my email to tell him my schedule only. He misused it a bit and i never emailed back.

I thought maybe I could get some injections and we both could benefit(him financially) and things would be cool. Me emailing him was more of a heads up that I would be coming to his clinic for work. I wasn't even totally serious about the discount because i booked at his clinic before he answered that question. But hey, what does it hurt to ask.

I don't care for him to come back to the club. He was kind of emotionally unstable at the time.

i figured i should be more specific in case i get told off by someone again:

    From the Restylane site:

"RESTYLANE is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance, called hyaluronic acid. The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to your skin".
