    Default Double Processing

So, I relax my hair and just switched to no-lye kiddy relaxer which seems to work easier on my hair, and also I feel it makes it break less since it's a little lighter than that Lye crap.

(I know a lot of people think no-lye is the devil, but I used mild for fine hair, and it worked well minues the burning and breaking).

So, I was wondering, I have done highlights in my hair before without horrible effects. I used sun-in one day and did it like, 6 times through the whole day (then blew it dry). Basically changed my hair to a goldeny blondish brown color. I have the UGLIEST hair color now. I'm not sure exactly why. I did put some purple semi-permanent color in it once but I'm almost sure it's all out by NOW it's been forever since I did it. I also bleached the fronts of my hair, and of course bleach on relaxer hair is the devil and it all broke off. So, I'm growing back my bangs from the bad bleach job.

If I used Sun-In (It didn't break off the one time I did it), or high lights (Herbal Essences?) with weekly deep conditioning, care, and bi weekly "mending" treatments, do you think it'd be okay to "color" my hair?

How long ago since your last color?

You REALLY need to be careful. I would wait as long as possible and would go with a deposit ONLY color. (Darker) If you put peroxide on that hair... it is going to melt off.

Maybe concider going to a salon and having the color put of by a pro. I would look for a salon that uses aveda color. I don't personally use it in my salon but i know they have some great demi-permanent colors that are ideal for damages har and also ethnic hair.

You had better be SUPER gentle with that hair and condition the shit out of it. Use something with some protien but for no longer than 1 week.
