Default Some potential problems, mainly for teens & young adults, on MySpace, Facebook, etc.

    This article of three webpages

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...referrer=email

describes some of the potential pitfalls for the younger people who use websites such as MySpace and Facebook. These potential problems are not limited to only the younger people there,of course - but the article describes how some of the younger folks have suffered due only to having their own pages on one of these services.

For that matter, though, people can find much of what you post on any message board by putting your "nick" into a search engine, such as Google.

I wanted to get a profile on myspace but a private one and they said they don't do that for adults. I'm sorry but I post my picture online and anyone could just save it and use it I don't think so. For me this wasn't an option. I can't immagine for young teens and kids what they must do. I've seen some pretty young ones posting bikini or sexy pictures and stuff like that I do think it's innapropriate for children. I know the concept is great but there's always some people to use your stuff or even take advantage of naive young children and now it is more visible than ever.
