Hello all, since everyone here is so well-versed on diet and exercise.. I figure I'd post my long thread...
Alright, the past month or so I had been feeling yucky, sore throat, tired, etc. However, I ignored it and continued to work overtime and crazy hours (care manager at a nursing home) and work out at least an hour of cardio a day. Around last weekend, it got really bad and I was diagnosed with mono ( blood test).
Anyway, I feel much better now... I lost about 4 lbs while "sick" because I had no appetite. However, I want to continue to lose weight because I have wanted to for a while, but now I'm super nervous about gaining weight because of my fatigue and lack of activity.
How long do you think before I can resume working out, even if at a lighter pace. I know I can't lift for a while (risk of rupturing spleen and liver).... also, any tips for avoiding weight gain? Thank you for all your help if possible!
