    Default BA scar and tanning

It's been 4 months since my BA and I have a scar under my nipple from the incision... I know I'm not supposed to tan- but for how long? In the meantime I am really tempted to go to a tanning salon so would it be okay as long as I cover up my scars? Does anyone have any good suggestions to cover them up without getting tan lines?

I'm not sure this will work because my incision is in a different place... I'm guessing that your scar is around the edge of your areola. How about round band-aids or pasties that cover your nipple/areola and overlap your incision? I don't think it will be very noticeable if you size them appropriately and apply them evenly.

My incision/scar is inframammary (in the crease) and I have just been using regular band-aids to cover my scars. I'm not too concerned about the tan lines. I just think of them as a temporary "conversation starters" Honestly though, nobody has even noticed unless I point it out.

I'd rather deal with funny tan lines temporarily than risk worsening my scars forever.
