I'm 5 ft. 1, and I have a chunky thighs and a big butt, but I have a small waist. I can't find any jeans that fit! Can anyone help? I don't really like to get jeans hemmed up. (It never seems to look right.)
Thanks!

sparkle, i'm with you girl, i have to hem all my pants cuase i'm 5ft2. Where are we gonna get some jeans? Help us ladies!
Never look down on anyone, unless you are helping them up!
One of my exes used to buy her jeans in the BOYS section of dept. stores. however she was both short and tiny. For men and boys there are "husky" sizes...I realize this doesn't sound very flattering but...

um you can get your jeans hemmed or you can just get a shorter inseam...I am 5'0 and usually a size 3 or 1 fit me well.

I'm 5'3", with a large butt and a small waist. I actually have the best luck at thrift shops. The jeans are already worn in.

I'm 5'3 and have hips and a booty for sure, I have found the best luck shopping at Sears. LEI's non stretchy jeans are great for me. They're a good length, and they don't make me feel like I need to starve to button them!

I'm 5'4" and I have a good sized butt and thighs but a small waist. My favorite jeans are American Eagle (they sell short sizes), Baby Phat (with heels), and Juicy Couture (Nordstrom's has an alterations department).
I also am packing a butt on me, second vote for American eagle.
I looooove American Eagle jeans. They fit me perfectly in every way... lol... They have different styles and cuts, and they're priced really well.
^I'm with you! I love AE jeans! Fit great!
I'm also in LOVE w/ Parasuco and Miss Sixty...those definitely usually need to be hemmed, tucked, or worn w/ heels though.
One of the downsides to being short, I guess.![]()
AE jeans are okay... their stretchy jeans are great... the 'favorites' for AE are great for girls with a behind... otherwise i get parasuco and wear heels... im not a huge fan of AE... something about how I used to work there and they found out I dance and it just went downhill from there.

American Eagle all the way..Those are the only jeans I will buy now..I dont bother with any other brands..

Short girls of the world unite!!

I'm 5'4" and I have a hell of a time buying jeans. Either they're too long, they're too tight at the waist, or they're too baggy in the butt and thigh area. I usually have good luck at Gap or Old Navy. They have short, regular, and long jeans, and I usually get the short.
I don't know if you have tried J Lo jeans but she makes clothes for curvier women like herself. I prefer Seven for all mankind jeans. They run by the waist size and some say, long, average, short. Seven jeans really make everything look nice, ass, thighs, hips, etc. They are kind of expensive (120 bucks) but you can purchase them on ebay for around 60. Also, Old Navy jeans aren't bad, they also make, short, long, average. Those are really the only jeans I have more than two pairs of. I am 5'3" by the way.
I like Mudd and Aeropostle jeans. yeah they are a bit longer, but I get the flared bottoms, and I just wear them down.
Also I second Old Navy, they have pretty good jeans too.
Other than trial and error (since I am NOT paying over $25 for a pair of jeans), I would try taking them and getting them hemmed up.
I'm 5'0". I've never bought jeans that I didn't have to shorten. right now my 3 favorite pair are Juicy, D&G, and Bebe. Two I had altered and one I just cut off myself since they were sort of work looking. Nordstroms and some other stores will do the alterations for you and you can just pick them up a few days later. They weren't cheap but my Juicy jeans are soooo comfy and I love them!

Thank you all so much for the help! I am now on a mission to find the perfect jeans. (well.....perfect for me, anyway.) It might be a week or so before I can hit the mall, but I'll let you guys know what I find!

the limited also has jeans in shorter lengths. i think they have short, medium or average, and long lengths.
Oh, I musta took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

I am a wopping 5'0" tall. hehe.
I have to hem all of my pants.![]()

I'm only 5'1 and I go to Wal-Mart for my jeans and I also have chunky thighs and a big butt and there jeans are some of the best i've ever had.

Well, I found some jeans! I'm sorry it took me so long to get back on here, but I've been in a bit of a "funk" lately. Still in my funk, but getting better. (I think I just need some warm, beautiful weather. I HATE winter.) Anyway.....I found some Abercrombie jeans that fit. They're a little long, but work great with heals. And it was the "Emma" style. They work better for big ol' booties. And, I also got some Lucky jeans (found them at a store called "Buckle". And I got the ones that are an "Easy Rider" style. They drag the floor, but that's the style, right? And, right now, they're my favorite! I still haven't tried American Eagle or the ones at Wal-Mart, but I will - sooner or later. Thanks again!
Express and American Eagle have jeans that fit me right off the rack Im 5'2.

I go to VANITY. They can get my length and no one else can. I got tired of shopping in the little girls department at walmart. VANITY caries them by size (5,6,7,8,) or legnth and waist like the mens jeans.
express is the devil for short girls, imo
