    cleaning heels

whats the easiest and most effeciant way to clean the pads of your heels (were you feet sit)??
i thought about throwing them in the washer but i figured that that would cause water to leak into the platform and probably not dry out

good question! I usually throw them out by then because the uppers and bottoms are worn out by then too.

    Maybe oxyclean and febreeze?

Put dollop of shampoo on sole + little water. Scrub with old toothbrush. Scrub plastic platform while you're at it. Rinse quickly. Set near heat source/ sunlight to dry.

Girls at the club say they put theirs in the top rack of the dishwasher. I usually just buy new ones but they claim this works.

I just buy new ones because the top bit can get worn out and hurt your feet more due to less cushion. I don't have a dishwasher!

careful with the dishwasher one- don't use the sanitizing cycle! it'll melt the acrylic.

That dishwasher trick sounds funny but I'll have to try it.
