    S Factor?

    Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had seen the S Factor videos, and if they are any good, or if it would be a waste of my money to get them. I am trying to learn some moves, as well as tone up a bit so that I can start going to auditions around April or so ( looks so much closer from this side of X-Mas !! : bitelip: ) This site has been so helpful answering every question I've had thus far, even some I didn't know I should be asking! lol I've heard that the best way to learn is to go and watch other girls, and I plan to do so A.S.A.P. But in the mean time, any opinions, reccommendations, etc. on where to learn at least some moves would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!!

I've heard some awful things about the S-Factor series.

The woman who put it together has never been a stripper.

when i purchased the "s factor," the book that is, i had already been dancing for over a year. i looked inside and found some new moves, and the author talks a lot about creating the aura of seduction and how each woman has that inside of her. all in all, it was a useful supplement to what i already knew, and at that time i was reading lots of stuff about dancing. admitted info junkie . anyhow....i don't know anything about the videos. most of your experience will be obtained in the club through your own personal experiences, from others, etc. plus never underestimate the information on this forum...it far exceeds anything in print. it might be a waste of $$ if you expect them to teach you by themselves. and yekhefah makes a great point...other dancers will probably give you the best info. as a beginner, being sexy and comfortable on stage will likely be more useful than moves, etc. hit the clubs and watch the other girls and get a feel for the atmosphere, and good luck

I think the book is pretty useful for a beginner, but I've never seen the videos, so I can't say. The book is very much geared toward the "suburbanite stripping for her husband" rather than actual dancers, but I don't think this invalidates the basic information. It has some good moves, including floorwork and polework, and some tips on how to give a lapdance. Also give advice on what to wear, other worthwhile stuff. If I had to suggest just one resource for a starting dancer, this might be it. Get it used on Amazon -- it's been around a while now, so you can probably find it cheap.

I know moves on the pole already but somebody reccomended the video so I thought what the heck. I am ALWAYS looking to learn new things. The video arrived and in my opinion, was completly useless. I dont need to learn how to look "sexy" on a pole or how to roll off one. Maybe for the horny housewife (lol) this would make a great video but thats about it

I got the pole video...and it's ok. WAAAAAAAAAY to beginner for me, but eh...

You are better off going to the clubs and see what they do there.

And, Yekhefah...she was never a stripper, but she played one on tv. LOL

In the book, she talks about strippers and their uncontrollable sexual prowess. Eh, we're just doing a job, lady! I'm not channeling my sexual desires. I'm trying to get $20, and I'm not thinking about anything else!

Aside from some of the cheese, the book (mainly pictures) is very good for beginners, probably better than anything else out there. It's geared for Oprah's fan base, but has a few good moves for floorwork, polework, and lap dancing. It's worth the $10 investment.

The DVD is expensive. Isn't it $50 or so on ebay? I recommend the book.

Personally have never heard of the vid.. I feel that anything that will advance you in your buisness is a plus. The vid may come in handy over the book becuase her opinions to you may not matter and she may not have the same point of view as you do. You could probably get the same thing out of other random dance videos though.
