I got a good friend that had kept an active Myspace blog. She was very opinionated, but (with some of my prodding) endevored to back up her opinions with a factual base, or (again, more of my prodding
) make sure she stated it was her opinion, with no facts backing it up.
She just gave it all up, because she got burned out with it. She felt compelled, over time and almost unconciously, to write to the masses, rather then write from the gut.
Any of you bloggers out there get burned out by doing it on a regular basis? I have never "blogged" myself, partially because I generally keep my thoughts to myself, partially because I never think anyone would really give a crap what I say. Thus, the concept of "blogger burn" is something that sorta boggles my mind.
