    Default weight loss recomendations

Does anyone have advice about weightloss? I just want to loose a few vanity pounds. A good friend of mine recomended TRIMSPA, but i dont think its right for me. I want to loose weight before i start to dance, becuase im not quite comfortable yet. i dont think a guy would buy a dance from me.

I wouldn't suggest any weight-loss pills if you are just trying to lose a few "vanity" pounds. Pills are more for people who are more overweight than just having a few extra pounds to lose. Exercise (this will also help you gain energy and get physically in shape to dance, as well as helping you lose weight), and eat healthy. Eat a few small meals each day, whenever you are hungry. Drink plenty of water, and cut out soda and sugary drinks (these are empty calories and also dehydrate you).

Ok trimspa does work for vanity pounds. I've been using it and its working but you still need to eat healthy and drink lots of water. I dance 6 days a week so there is my exersize. When I am at work and I get a little hungry but there is no time for a real meal, I keep slim fast in my bag. Another girl I know drinks ensure. No matter what you do for a diet, you have to improve the what you eat. You need carbs and protein, so dont skip those. Low calorie seems to be the most recommended way to lose pounds according to a nutritionist. Steamed or boiled is better than fried. Rice is better than potatoes. Dried fruits are good when you are on the road and much better than hitting the drive thru.

I started counting calories Dec 3, I do my best not to go over my set limit. I have lost 24 pounds and have not exercised one time and I eat almost what I want. Cut down on your intake, drink diet soda if you have to have soda, and watch your calories and you will lose more than you would think.

well how many calories are u restricting yourself on?

i work out about 5 days a week (2 days cardio kickboxing & 3 days weight training).. i love to eat so its very hard for me to stick with a diet. i have been on many diets and have had success but i always have quit because i just love to eat and i cant deal with the mental stress that comes with it, but i have started working out 5 days a week so I hope that will help me tone and lose weight in the long run.

more cardio and replace lunch with a good meal replacement protein shake. (one with low impact carbs). i use EAS carb sense.

this is generally what i do if i need to shed in a hurry for a show or something.

plus the usual -- more water.

are you interested in actually changing the way you look, or the number on the scale? if it's just the number that bothers you, go get one of those spa wraps. they claim you "sweat out the toxins" but basically you lose water weight.

There is no quick, safe way that I am aware of to lose weight. You must exercise and make healthy food choices. There are all kinds of girls at work that fast, get liposuction, diet for a week, etc. It ends up coming right back on if you don't change your lifestyle.

greenid is right as far as long term weight loss goes. if the 'vanity pounds' are something you want gone forever then green is right - there is no quick fix.

quick fix is for one-off events.

She didn't say she wanted a quick fix. She said Trimspa (a quickfix) wasn't right for her. I'm in the same boat as you are, Sweetie, I'd like to lose a few "vanity" pounds (about 3) as well. Mostly I think its just a little bit of toning I need to do. Like someone previously said, I am more concerned about how I look then the number on the scale. I guess all we can do is do more cardio, weights, and watch the portions. Good Luck!!!

I'm assuming she wants to lose the weight for longer than one night.

This won't work...as soon as you drink water for a day, it'll all come back...your skin will feel amazing, though!!!

Tighten up your diet, eat more times a day, drink more water, do cardio and lift weights. Since you only have a few pounds to lose, you should notice results fairly quickly.

    In my opinion..TRIMSPA is great!!

I have lost 24 lbs. from it just because it is such a great appetite suppressant. Yeah, i bought into the whole Hoodia-Gordonii thing, so I tried it and it does actually work! It is not a quick fix thing because there isn't much of a stimulant or any fat burners in it..just different appetite supressants. It has allowed me to make better food choices, as well as get rid of all sugar cravings! I now eat half of what I would have eaten prior to taking it, which has made my lifestyle change alot easier to get used to!

Interesting, how many calories a day do you eat now? That's pretty cool. How long did it take you to lose 24lbs? CONGRATS though!

The SouthBeach diet prepared foods are a big help to me! They are healthy, tasty, and quick, and have lot's of fiber, so they really fill you up. Really good if you don't have much time or don't like to cook, or if you have live alone and have trouble not scarfing up leftovers like I do if bored. Not much variety though, so other help with diet +excersize still important.

I though Trimspa was just another gimmick, does it really suppress hunger? Any jittery side effects?

There are 3 different kinds of Trimspa out there...the X32, Citruspa, and Energy. The Energy one made me fill very jittery as it has quite a bit of caffeine. However the Citruspa and the original X32 did not. I have to make myself eat 1200 calories a day! It did take around a week to feel the full effects of it, but it's really a great product!

The directions say that you have to take it with LOTS of water around 16 oz. a dose because the trick is it expands in your stomach leaving you feeling stuffed. If you don't drink enough water, it could get lodged in your throat and expand...CHOKE!!

I've tried everything as far as "fat-burners" including HOT ROX, Xenadrine, Leptopril, Stacker, and Zantrex 3 and all those left me very jittery and irritable, but not this stuff..I LOVE IT!

I have used TrimSpa x32 in the past too and found them to be very effective at appetite suppressing. There are a couple of different types though as someone mentioned above. I only would buy the ones that come in the silver bottle. The pills will be red in color. Sometimes you can buy them in a red box that has fewer pills in it, but I found they were not the red pills (even thought it was supposedly the same x32 formula) and not as effective. I'm at the point where I'm happy with my weight but will take appetite suppressors to maintain it and was really happy with TrimSpa.
