I don't chase money. Money chases me.
Mac has some good ones. Use DUO Eyelash adhesive.
How much do you get them for??

i think at mac they are like $7. Not very much, and they sell the adhesive too.
My favorites are Trish McEvoy but tehy quit making them.
I use the Mac ones with the Duo adhesive. I generally don't have any problems with them slipping during the night.![]()
Of course I brought the diamante cuffs.... Silly Daddy...
You can also try Sally Beauty Supply. They usually have a great selection and variety of styles. I think they have stores in just about every US state, too.
http://www.sallybeauty.com - Do a search for "lash"
I personally like the "Sweeties" style if I get the strips.
I also like the individual lashes because they look more natural. It will take some practice at putting them on, though. You have to do one at a time. I use a variety of lengths for an even more natural look (longer on the outside corner of my eye and shorter near the inside corner).
Make sure you get the dark color eyelash adhesive - it is so much better! If you can't find it locally, one place to get it online is drugstore.com

I use NYC's double criss cross lashes ans THEY ROCK!!! You get two pairs of half strips (lashes that extend from center of eye to outer corners only) or a pair of full strips for under $2 at Target. I prefer the half strip.
For anyone with a sensitivity to lash glue: Have you ever checked the ingredients of lash glue? It's basically latex and fermaldehyde. I stopped wearing them for awhile 'cause my eyes almost swelled shut after a shift. Then I found Vincent Lango's La Dolche Vita Lashes with came with a glue without either ingredients. LOVED it! Alas, it was only a sesonal item so they no longer make it. I now use Shu Uemera's lash glue and my eyes seem to do better, no more swelling. However, they will start itching ferociously if I don't use eye makeup remover promptly when I get home.

I want to try to fake eyelashes too. They are hot!

For some reason I can't find them anymore where I liveI am sooo pissed.
Lash glue does horrible things to my eyes and they end up watering at the corners making the lash come off a bit. I haven't found any lash glue yet that doesn't do that. I will try the Shu Uemera. Thanks
MAC also makes corner lashes![]()
I use Ardell #117 with Duo adhesive...
I use tweasers to put the lashes on... its the easiest way Ive found so far...
OK! I bought the MAC lashed and DUO glue... But I can't get them on ITS SO HARD ..any tips ??

You need to use something like a toothpick or an orangewood stick to apply the glue. Just put some glue on the back of your hand, Put the toothpick into the glue and get a small glob of it and apply the glue to the lashes. Blow on the glue for about 5 seconds then just stick them on right at your natural lash line. Don't glue them to your lashes, glue them to your eyelid and then use a heavy eyeliner. Mascara sometimes breaks down the glue and they will fall off otherwise.
Just be patient and keep practicing.

I wore them a few times, but with my contact lenses my eyes just kept tearing up. Is it possible to wear that awful glue with contacts do you think? With the smoke and everything else, it was just too much for me..

^^^ I wear contacts and I use fake lashes. Not just at work but as an everyday thing because my natural lashes are thin and don't curl much. It is possible. Your contacts might be tearing up just cause of the smoke, not the lashes or the glue. Or you could have accidentally gotten soem glue on the inside of your eyelid or on the contact.
I wear ardell lashes and glue.. run a thin line of glue along the base of the lashes and blow on it a little until it starts to dry, then holding the strip at either end between your thumb and forefinger, place the lash strip at the very base of your lashes positioning the outside first. use a pair of tweezers to perfect the placement and squeeze your real and fake ones together at the base to make them indistinguishable. I use eyeliner on the inner top lid to make the look even more natural
Hey Im really interested in trying fake lashes, do you put mascara on after youve glued your fakes on? Or does that mess up the fakes?

Does anyone wear them on the bottom lash line too?

I apply liquid liner and mascara after I glue on the falsies.Originally Posted by Rbcaul

Couldn't you put the liner on before too? I am new to eyelashes also. I have a pair but don't use them cuz I'm sure what to do. Can you trim them down if they are too long? Are you supposed to use liquid liner? I have very oily lids which makes eye makeup very hard to stay. It usually ends up wearing off or in my creases even when I use a that stuff that's supposed to make it stay. That's why I would put liner on before.

I put my mascara and liner on before I apply my lashes. Although sometimes I put the liner on after, try different ways and then do whatever works best for you.

Have you tried Laura Mercier's eye shadow base? I have the same problem and that stuff keeps my shadow on for 12 hours. I also hear good things about Loreal, I think they call it Decrease or something.Originally Posted by sexy_bitch
I like doing my liquid liner after 'cause it makes the lash strip less noticable.
I tried site to get !! it's durable mostly it works for me a day !!
Has anyone tried magnetic eyelashes?? I suck at doing the eyelash glue and thought maybe that would be a better route for me
