    Default I'm Too Different!- Bmore

So, I was actually working as an escort until my agency got buuuuuusted!

I know how to make men feel comfortable, and I've been told by quite a few that I'm absolutely gorgeous, but I have an audition tonight at the Ritz Cabaret in Bmore. I dance okay and am an avid belly dancer. I'm in shape enough, too.

I'm mostly worried because all the other girls I saw there had long hair (mine is recuperating from a buzzcut), they all did pole tricks (I'm just not about to attempt something that I know will make me fall over onto the nice bartender!), their tattoos were on the back or not there (mine is right smack on my upper boob), they had no piercings I could see (I've got a lip ring), and so on and so forth. I've never done this before! Eeep!

I'm terrified, so I'm going out and getting myself a slightly more kickass costume for tonight and reminding myself that there are many other clubs in my area and that they know I've never danced before so they aren't expecting an enormous amount. Any other boosters y'all could recommend?

sometimes being different makes you stand out in a good way: you could really exploit said differences and make your own unique look. how this is received by customers can only be determined by time. or you could go for a wig or extensions if you feel more comfortable. don't worry about pole work...really...when you start a club, you aren't expected to know it. have some other girls teach you when it's slow. you can also play up the new girl experience: tell guys this, play innocent, and it sometimes gets you dances (this is hard to explain). good luck....you say that you're in shape and pretty....then you have the looks! and belly danceing is sexy...channel some of that (not necessarily the moves themselves, but the moods of seduction) into your stage work.

I've seen "different" girls kick ass before because they were BEAUTIFUL chickies. A few just had a crazy look, but genuine beauty and great personalities, yeah not everyone went for them, but a lot of big money guys really do just want something different. I used to have black hair past my waist, pale skin that glowed, earrings all the way up, an eye brow ring, and a dog collar ... I made money, it took a little getting used to, but I still made money.
I did choose to go the tan and blonde route minus the collar and jewelry, but that was a year or two after starting dancing. I try to switch up my look every few months.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

Corsica: Yeah, it was real fun to go on a trip to NE, come home broke, expect to earn my $$$ the next day, and show up to the website and phone lines of my place of employment being disconnected, my reviews on TER suddenly not having an agency attached, and my boss not returning my calls to her cell. Grrrr.

Sasha: Girl, thanks for the PM! I sent one back.
