    Default Management Issues

Arg! I hate this! *this is kinda long*

I finally find a place where I feel comfortable working at. The Tip outs are low, the let you keep the ALL your money from your dances, and the atmosphere is really nice. But one of the managers/co-owners of the place is an ASSHOLE! Good lord! He is either bi-polar, racist or on drugs. At the beginning of shift, he's sweet and funny and jokes arounds with us. By the end of the night he is acting like he owns US *the strippers* and he says really rude things to a couple of us.

Like there are only a few black dancers working at the place. The rest are white girls. If you were to come and just look around, the white girls are doing all kinds of crazy things. They are grinding and riding, putting their stuff in the custys faces, rubbing their crotches, pulling their thongs aside and showing custys their "stuff", and he just sits back and laughs. But as soon as me or another one of the black girls even sits on a lap to long, he will come over, tug on our shoulders, saying something rude like "This ain't a brothel or Grind Central, get up" which fucks with my money because the custy is looking around at everybody getting grinded and rode and is looking at me like "WTF?"

Last night we got into it because I didn't want to pay house. He cost me four dances because he wanted to make a rude comment or made me get up or made me leave the VIP area and I told him House didn't do a damn thing for me tonight. Every other club in the city has all kinds of shady things going on, . Mostly prostitution and drugs shit that I don't want to get involved in so I'm not really interested in going to another club. I go to school, so its pretty hard to go to another city to dance, and I'm just running out of options because I might end up killing this fool if he keeps acting the way he does.

Me just ranting and rambling...just upset I guess.

Never wait til the end of the shift and say "I won't pay house". It's best to address the situation and resolve it as it happens.

Most of the time the issue is at the end of the night.
When you realize you would be leaving with nothing if you pay the house.

You always know on the spot when a mgr or other staffmember is causing you to lose money. So yes, it should be addressed immediately. Go to the guy as soon as you finish with your custy and tell him straight up he's costing you money when he does that, and the custy sees everyone else in the room getting more contact.

OTOH, are the other girls tipping this guy to turn his head? Sometimes we have to grease a few palms to keep the jerks off our backs...

I had this same exact problem last night! You read my mind....Another dancer and I were dancing for a custy, when manangement kept walking by telling us to stop what we were doing, and yet when other dancers take off their tops for private dances (topless dances not allowed in my club), its okay...i feel your pain......i basically just ignored managment, i mean i didnt take my top off, but i know how you feel....i know that maybe this is not the best advice, but i get sick of the double standards that go on in this place sometimes.....when they act like that on certain nights i dont tip out to them...
