    Default Uncomfortable declarations

I'm atheist, but if I tell people my choice of religion or lack thereof, some people act as if I've just stated that I like to drown babies. One pair of fundamental Christian parents (so bad that they don't let their kids watch Sesame Street because it shows divorce and glorification of a demon in the form of the Count) told me that they don't want to have such influences around their children and asked me never to see them again. I'm not evil, and I share a lot of the same morals as most of them, but atheism is somehow associated with immorality. I usually don't mention my atheism, but if people ask, I won't lie.

Can you help me list some other things that you say that really aren't bad at all, but make people shift their feet uncomfortably and make quick, negative judgments?

    1) I take baths with my children (Bathing is a family and social thing in Japan, but my Japanese friend's sister-in-law went apeshit and threatened to call Child Protection Services on him).
    2) I don't believe in God/Jesus.
    3) I'm atheist.
    4) I'm pro-choice.
    5) I can't stand kids.
    6) I don't want to have kids.
    7) I'm an exotic dancer.
I believe in premarital sex and cohabitation.
    9) I'm gay/lesbian/bisexual.
    10) I don't plan to go to college.

11.) I believe its perfectly ok for girls to sleep with as many people as they want, male or female, and not be thought of as sluts. If anything, I think they are fucking awesome.

I think that saying, "I accept Jesus as my savior" makes most people shift their feet just as uncomfortably as saying, "I'm stone atheist."

That's just my observation. Personally, I don't care either way.

Well, when I went through Customs, I had to be honest about the cash & jewelry in my bag....then they checked my dancer shoes to see if I had drugs hidden in the platform soles...that was an uncomfortable declaration. (I'm a greedy ho, not a drug mule.)

Telling people you have always been an unwed single mother of 2 kids. One of which you had at 17.

I know that I could lie about their ages, I know that I could lie and say I have no kids. But I dont really get into the lying about my life on things im proud of.

But most people give that look like " oh you poor thing ..so that's why you are here ".. or they wanna run.

Yeah Jane I feel ya there on the religion thing.

I have a hard time of it too in a half catholic half southern baptist area.

People freak when I say I don't believe in Jesus or hell.

I too hate the stigmas associated with dancing. I had to lie and tell the Girl Scouts that I was a part time bartender so I could be the Troop Leader for my daughter's troop. It's a pain.

Finally, the debut of the Girl Scout merit badge for pole dancing. May I suggest clean executions of a fireman's spin and the Gemini pose as the criterion for earning the badge?

Just being open and honest about sexual encounters makes a lot of people nervous.
Yeah, i find most can't grasp that i believe in the possibility of an afterlife that has nothing to do with heaven or hell, or even reincarnation to this life.

I find strongest opposition to sharing my choice of work.

There are a couple things I say that make people look at me funny...

No I never where a helmet, I hate going to states where they force you to, it's my head I'll risk it if I want to!

I am a strong gun advocate. Will I continue to carry as my daughter gets older? Hell yes, as soon as she can understand I will teach her gun safety.

Commence the crazy looks, head shaking, debate etc.

    -I support the smoking ban.
    -I am against helmet laws.

i believe everyone should be allowed to have guns. big, bad, loud, dangerous guns.

i think all drugs, sex, and forms of marriage should be legalised, excluding pedophilia but not excluding inter-species relations.

i'm pagan. i'm now studying a path that follows a god named lucifer. (no, not the devil- the etruscan god of the first light of dawn, and the protector of wildlife. o, those evil bunnies dancing in the daylight! ahhhhh!)

    i'm pro-choice, and in some cases, pro-abortion.

i'm pro-capital punishment, but i think we need to make the system fairer by killing more people, more indiscriminately.

i think rapists should be executed horribly and painfully.

i want to kick men in the nuts with stilettos on once they admit to liking school girls and shaved cunts.

i menstruate. i might even be doing it right now. in fact, i sell pictures of it. 5 days out of every month, i drip bright red bleeding obscenity from my god-forsaken cunt and i'm proud of it!

i like girls. and i have no political qualms about strapping on a phallic instrument to fuck them with.

i think EVERYONE needs therapy. including me, but especially the people who think they don't need it.

    i think anti-sex feminists are really anti-feminist.

i think raunchy, low-class, nasty porn is liberating to women.

i think "classy" is the dirtiest word in a america.

    • I don't believe in god or the devil, I feel that if there is a god then I am him - I created life, and changed the human form. On the other hand if there is a devil, then I'm him too - I have no qualms about taking human life, I tempt people on a daily basis
    • People who deal any drug harder than pot should be killed, slowly
    • I'm pro corpral punishment - I think we should allow teachers to disipline our children more severly than detention
    • I'm pro death penalty for serious crimes - ya wanna rape a baby or hurt a kid? Die motherfucker die!
    • I believe gun control is using both hands
    • I support the legalization and taxation of marijuana, and the byproducts of it - our constitution was written on hemp and levis were once made of hemp..put that in yer bong and smoke it
    • I don't support humane methods of killing crimminals, let the punishment fit the crime
    • I'm pro- same sex marriage
    • I'm pro choice
    • I don't think america is the greatest country in the world
    • I'm as racist as they come - if you ain't me I hate ya
    • People who cross our borders illegally should be shot on sight - consider it as an act of terrorism
    • I find overweight people disgustingly funny
    • I don't believe that being fat is a disease
    • I don't view alcohoism or drug addiction as diseases, they are choices - I CHOSE to get high and I CHOSE to stop
    • I don't believe the government has the right to decide where I can or can not smoke
    • I despise most forms of organized anything
    • I believe just cuz a woman sleeps with as many guys as a guy does women it doesn't make her a slut...it makes her experienced and I would rather have experience over lame
    • Helmets and seatbelts kill people
    • Loud pipes DO save lives
    • I don't believe in monogamy
That's about it for now, I'm sure most people don't wanna hear the shit in my head

    here's some more:

i think men have no right to make decisions regarding pregnancy, abortion, childbirth, or breastfeeding. when they grow uteruses, or at least an additional x chromosome, they will have a right to speak.

i think that the world be a significantly better place if we stopped letting men make decisions.

i'm not sure how much i really buy into the idea that men are equally responsible for human reproduction- i think it's mostly, if not entirely, the contribution of women.

i think spanking is *generally* a sad excuse to vent violent urges on annoying people who can't fight back. let's start venting those urges on adult assholes- like childmolesters, wife beaters, and rapists.

i think racism is another good example of the y chromosome run amok.

i think some people just need killing- and that should be an acceptable defense in court.

I used to date a woman who had a penis.

I believe in electromagnetic energy (how can people not, and why do they think it's weird that I do? Science, duh)

I think gender is a social construct.

I hurt people for money and they enjoy it.

    I LIKE dancing naked.

    I howl at the moon.

    Ok more from me
    • I think women who claim that women do it all are assholes
    • I think everyone should get a fair days wage for a days work
    • I think women who blame ALL men for their problems need to wake up
    • I don't think it's fair or right to compare your current S.O. to your ex
    • I don't believe everyone was created equally, some people are better than others
    • I think chicks with dicks are cooler than hell
    • Hermaphrodites are cooler than chicks with dicks - anyone who can go fuck themselves is tits in my book
