    Default Harmful pet product!

Just to let you know about this website I found as I am awake at almost 5am and need to go to bed but couldnt b/c I was reading the stories of people who have lost their pets (cats and dogs) to Hartz pet products. The stories are so sad and my fuzzy guy is one of the best things to see after a long and I would never want to lose him.

*Warning* Disturbing pet pictures inside link. If you love your cat or dog or even hamster consider a different brand.

OMG, I started crying looking at that. I love my little Stinkers and Fatso Bike (cat and dog's nicknames!) so much I would go insane to have to deal with that. Thank you for bringing that to attention; I'll make sure to avoid that horrid shit!

OH that shit makes me angry! I never use Hartz products anyway. It's low quality and you get what you pay for most of the time. My doggies are more important than humans in my life (only my parents and man in my life are in that catagory).
I can't stand to see innocent animals hurting.

Have never used a flea collar ever (for my dogs ) ! I give my doggies a bath when needed . The pets reaction looked like an alergic one and I imagine this will happen to pets at times ( so sad ) I dont know if they have a disclaimer on the boxes when you buy them ? You must be careful with your pets meds just like you are with your own .

Hartz is well known for having too much "poison" in their products. Thought they cut back due to a suit years ago?? Should pull the products off the shelves if you ask me.

Tell ya what. You could hang a flea collar made by them outside your house door, and your pets wont get fleas! Strong shit.

They make everything from collars, food, medicine (flea and tick and stuff), toys, treats, and more. I've never been a fan of any of their merchandise. I would never put a flea collar on my pets. Or use over the counter products for that problem. I think Hartz is low quality in everything they make, don't trust it for my babies.
I guess I'm a snob that way but they don't get anything that's not good enough for a human. My babies are spoiled rotten, I wish more people didn't think animals (pets) were disposable.
Sorry to get off on a rant, I just love animals.

^^They do make alot of pet products sadly. I stopped feeding my cat the hairball goo I was giving to him made by them. Its not helping anyways. I really hate the mistreatment of animals for fighting or bad products to abuse.

This is really sad b/c peopel mean well when they buy a flea collar or something for thier pet. OTOH, My dog wore Hartz flea collars for 16 years. I wonder if they changed their formula recently . . .

The website says that the Hartz flea collars and drops have been discontinued for cats.

When I looked at the photos, I thought of the thousands of animals used for testing for that product. I hug my cat a little tighter.

    ^^^

I agree that is a sad pic, but I don't get why they didn't do something sooner.

I mean that kind of hair loss and problem doesn't show up in a few hours, it happens over time. If they loved their pet that much, why didn't they catch it before it got that bad.

I do a semi complete check up everyday on the dog and cat both when I pet them.
