    I agree with this.

You could also ask the girls who do tricks to help you learn. That's the absolute best way to do it...go in early and stay late to practice.

If you live in a big enough city, there are more and more pole dance teachers now. Trying do a google search for [your city] + "pole dance lessons." If nothing turns up, check out www.verticaldance.com or www.polekatz.com.

There are videos out there. After 8 months you should know a few pool moves. Even if all you can do is hang on, pick you feet up, and spin.... that is a start. Go in early and practice as that is the only way to really learn or get the confidence in yourself to do it.

Practice makes perfect and that's the only way you're going to get comfortable. Be sure to stretch before practice and don't wear any body oils or lotion. Wearing patent leather shoes or boots are also helpful in helping you to grip the pole. Also, be honest with yourself about what you want to learn and safely execute on the pole. There are easier pole tricks that I still can't do, but I have picked up more advanced moves that worked better for my body. Be creative and look to develop your own style on stage, this will work better for you overall as it will look the most natural. Good Luck!

I learned by wtach ing other girls and trying to mix it up a little dont want to be doing the same thing that every one else is doing. And then I stayed after work and practiced and also pulled a few early day shifts so that I could practice and try to make some money while doing so

    Pole tricks are fun...
Ask someone you work with to teach you something. Most tricks are based around form and momentum so once you learn one or two you should be able to figure some out. Most importantly make sure you exercise, stretch, and practice!!
