I was nervous when I went in to audition, because I didn't know what I would have to do. It turned out that I didn't have to audition at all. I just met with the manager, and she hired me right away, so I didn't even have to dance or undress at all. So will you have to audition in front of customers, do an amateur night, or just audition for the manager? You should call around to different clubs in your area and ask what exactly you'll have to do so you'll be better prepared. Different clubs do auditions in different ways. At one club you may audition in front of customers and they'll be able to tip you, while at a different club you may just have to meet with the manager so they can see what you look like. I made a lot of money my first night because everyone knew that I was new. I work at a very small club, with only about 4-10 dancers every night, so whenever customers see a new face, they know you are probably brand new. If customers know you're new to dancing, they'll probably tip you more to give you encouragement.
If you're not used to dancing in heels, I would suggest practicing before you go to audition, so that you're more comfortable. You'll be nervouse enough about auditioning, you don't want to have to worry about falling in your heels on top of being nervous about everything else. Good Luck! Just try to relax and have fun with it.

Are you allowed to Wear socks on stage? or can you be barefoot? Especially if you are uncomforable in heels!! In other words do majority of clubs try to make you as comfortable as possible, because you can not make money uncomfortable ( anybody answer)

Sorry girl, but you pretty much have to figure out how to dance in heels and stay in them. There are a few clubs that are less strict about what you wear and you could get away with boots with low heels or other low-heeled shoes, so I guess call the club and check. But I'm pretty sure barefoot or in socks violates health codes and would be frowned on during an audition.

    Yup..that is def a violation.

As for your qestions...the best thing for you to do would be to actually call the club an ask these questions. Call during the day when it's least busy. They will have more than enough time to answer your questions. No one here can really tell you what goes on in what club cause they are all run so differently.
