    Default Bigger eyes - Surgery

Have any of you had like an eyelid lift or anything to make you eyes appear bigger? And I don't mean because your eyelids were saggy.

I read somewhere that Holly from Girls Next Door had something like this done and that a lot of Asian people have it done.
I'm not Asian though, I would just like bigger eyes.

if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

blepharoplasty should be a last resort.

your eye skin is sooo delicate - and i assume you are not very old... it would be silly to go getting them cut up.

just how small are your eyes? (post an eye pic...)

You know, all through out school I was made fun of and harrased because my eyes are so much huger then the rest of my face. They always make me look surprised and stupid, I always have to keep my eyes halph shut to keep from looking like a freak of nature.
Be happy with what you have.
The good thing, people can see I am awake from a mile away. The bad thing, even my man has made fun of my eyes. Big eyes are not flattering.
As I said, be happy with what you have.
<<<My picture..my eyes are closed part way. Way more then my natural open eye I'm looking around the room stance. Big eyes suck!

I love my big eyes! Guys find them very attractive---plus, it makes me look a bit more innocent than I really am!

I honestly don't know if this is true. But.

A person once told me that you can have the bone directly above your eye filed to make it larger? Who knows. Just what I've heard?

Id have to be on the opposite scope... I say if you want it done do it. Just research first... a LOT. My surgery wasnt eyes but Im 100% happy I had it done. If you do research and a year from now still want it done then go for it.

Do you think botox could do this?

Thanks for all your replies girls - I really appreciate it.

I don’t think I have very small eyes they are quite normal. I just think that big eyes are so beautiful!
Kinda like Holly from GND or Jessica Simpson.
But the thought of having your eyelids cut up seems drastic.

White eyeliner inside your lower lid, gives you a slight bigger illusion too.

I have small eyes, and they're kind of narrow. Guys always ask me if I'm part Asian (which I'm not). I've learned to work with it after tons of time being unhappy about how small my eyes are. I use white eyeliner on the inside of the bottom lid, and only use black eyeliner on the outside corner of the bottome of my eyes, and all the way across on the top. If you use eyeliner around your whole eye, it can make them look closed in and even smaller than what they are, but if you use it on the top and outside corner of the bottom, this defines them. On the top, I extend the eyeliner line out and up a little, which makes my eyes look a little bigger, but also a little more of that "Asian" look that guys always tell me I have. I use highlighter cream on the inside corner, which makes me look more awake and makes my eye area look brighter. I use light shimmery eyeshadow on my eyelid, and a darker shimmery color just in the outside corner.

Thanks for the makeup tips! Those are great!

Audrey> Oh yeah you might be right! I just read somewhere that a botox brow lift would make your eyes appear larger.

This procedure is very popular with the Asian women.I have large "American" eyes so I don't need this.
