I'm taking a trip to Connecticut and a jaunt on over to Manhattan this weekend. I'd love to check out a couple of stellar dancewear stores while I'm out there. Does anyone have a recommendation?
Thanks so much!

1. TicTacToe on West 4th street. A door or two down is another store, I forget the name, but I'm sure someone else will remember for me.
2. Empire Erotica across from Ricks Cabaret on West 33rd street. Its between 5th ave and broadway.
it's open mon-sat 10am to 10pm/ sun noon to 8pm
I haven't been to Gotham City, but I see on the flyer I have that they sell lingerie.
687 8th ave bet 43rd and 44th st
693 8th ave bet 43rd and 44th st
781 8th ave bet 47th and 58th st
396 westside hwy and christopher st (this one stays open pretty late) 212-255-1110
maybe you should call and find out which store has the biggest selection.
the only other places I know are in queens/L.I. and I'm guessing you don't want to travel that direction.

What part of Conn? Penthouse is like exit 40-something in CT, they have great stuff, big selection. There is another store over in the same vincinity, but it is like an 1 and 1/2 from NYC

ladies, thank you very much! much appreciated. i'm new to dancing and having a hell of a time finding outfits that i feel help cultivate the image i want to portray.
btw...i'll be in new haven, ct.

I wish there were more places that gave more of a selection. It seems like most of these stores have about 90% of the same things.
I stick to online most of the time, but it's so much fun to buy in person, you can see the material or have a better idea of the fit.
If you are going for a gown look, Empire Exotica has the most gowns followed by the shop in the village who's name escapes me at the moment.
there's a VIP adult shop in the new haven area (on the boston post road, i believe). good luck!
