    Default Cortisol pills? (Not Relacore)

    Hey chicas!
I've read about relacore and how it helps you retain cortisol, but I haven't found anything specifically on Cortisol supplements.
My Costco has a carton of Cortisol pills for 13 bucks, and it says it helps you lose weight by curbing cravings. Does anyone here take straight cortisol? How has it worked for you? What are the risks? I can't find very much info, so I was wondering if anyone here knew anything. thanks tons,
    mwah!

ETA: all the links I have found have been about cortisol control and talk about how bad cortisol is. What gives? I'm so lost!

you dont want to retain cortisol.. that is what causes you to have cravings and hold belly fat. These pills claim to reduce cortisol levels... not raise them.

And I think its a bunch of crap. Watch what you eat and hit the gym - that will reduce cortisol levels without putting some foreign shit in your body

Yeahh I don't think I'm gonna take any pills. I'm a little freaked out by all of them.
Think I'll just stick to pilates and egg yolks, haha

You have a bunch if things confused. Those supposed cortisol weight loss pills (which don’t do jack for weight loss BTW) don’t claim to add cortisol, they claim to reduce cortisol. High cortisol levels are associated with abdominal fat and in general, high cortisol is negative for health. There are many cortisol based drugs used for various medical problems, and they are all highly toxic and generally terrible for your health and will not cause weight loss. They will however cause muscle loss and huge water retention.

That's nuts, I could've sworn this product was marketing itself as "Cortisol", just cortisol, not as a cortisol reduction aid or anything. I guess that wouldn't make much sense. And thanks for the info, everybody. I'm more wary of them now, after having read a few articles about them. Eep! haha
    thanks!

Relora supplements. Relora is a blend of plant extracts, specifically the ground-up, dried root of a type of magnolia plant. It contains absolutely no drugs or stimulants. It curbs your appetite, and reduces your cortisol levels---makes you feel calm. I've been on the stuff for about a year, and it definitely reduced my little tummy pooch. I wouldn't recommend those other drug cocktails which claim to do the same thing--I think they contain stimulants.
