My neighborhood in Hollywood is full of homeless people and prostitutes. They don't bother me, and I don't bother them. This neighborhood was different; it was obvious gang territory and I saw shot-out windows, etc. Just trust me that there's a difference. I'm only in town for the one night, but I may try the club anyway if I come back through - might take a cab though. It's not worth worrying about my car.

I was gonna recommend you take a cab to work since the car seemed to be your biggest worry. That's what I always did when I travelled and felt uneasy about the surroundings.

Yeah... but I get nervous in cabs, too!

Something about being helpless in someone else's car with some strange guy driving trips my alarm. I can be really paranoid sometimes, but you know, I haven't been mugged since I was 16, and never been attacked. So it must be working.

I sent you a PM, that area of town looks worse than it really is.

So is that a bad place to work? Or does it appear that way? I think I might start there soon, when i'm ready and they are hiring dancers.

Heather, click on this link about Paper Moon http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62900
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.
