    Default Teachers and Schools

    Hi Everyone,
I am so inspired by pole dancing, I just think it can be so beautiful plus it's great for the body.
But I wanted to put it out there to all of you for advice: where are the best teachers in the US? Also the best pole dance performers - right now I'm on the west coast but totally willing to travel to find the best of the best!

    Thanks Sassysummer!
I checked out coursejunction... there are a handful of schools there...
I guess I'm asking who are the big stars of pole dancing - I'm freed up enough right now that I can do some travelling to find them. I'd love to see them performing... and possible learn from them too if they're teaching. I'm living in LA right now but distance is no obstacle! x

Ok, I will try Shawn's class. Thankyou.
What about Aphrodite and also I've found a site called Lu Pole Dance; the teacher is Lu Nagata from New York? Does anyone know of these two schools? Or any other great ones?

    Hi All,
I've started going to pole classes in LA; and am loving it!
But the more I do it, the more fascinated I am by it as an art form and would LOVE to know who are the best girls in the country to see perform/study with.
    Any advice for me?

Shawn is great--she's actually worked in strip joints and she's also very aware of safety issues. And her DVD is hot!
