Default VENTING about my wimpy Director..

    *takes a deep breath*

Oh god bless this website. I need to vent about one of my dayshift managers. First of all, he's the computer geek from hell.. talks about html coding and programming to us.. glasses, about 6' tall, 80lbs. (j/k, he might hit 125) and he hides in the back office all day while we have to deal with our own custy problems on the floor. For EXAMPLE:

Last week, my dancer friend Cali was chatting up a custy when he agreed to do some lapdances. (yay!) So they went up and she clarified that it is $25 a song and he paid her for the first song and they started, after that he continued 3 more songs. So he owed her $75. When he went digging for the money, he only pulled out $35 and said it was all he had. So now, she had $60 when she should have had $100. (RIP OFF) I am also curious how you girly's would have handled this? I figured she had these options,

a: tell him to either go to the ATM or get a cash advance on a credit card from the bar.
b: tell the manager, and get him kicked out.
c: put her stilletto to his head? lol

Well, frustrated after he said he couldn't go to the ATM and didn't have a credit card.. she left him back at his table. Upon returning from the dressing room, she comes to find out he pulled more money out of the ATM, bought a round of drinks for him, his friend, and 3 other dancers.. and was back in the private room with another dancer. *FUMES*

So she gets the manager right away.. the stupid cheesehead I'm talking about.. and he explains to her that it's HER fault she didn't get all the money. (was she supposed to mug him and force him to tell her his PIN number?) and that HE wasn't going to do anything because it was already 'done and over with'. IMO he shoulda been thrown out a long time ago.

This manager also didn't throw out a customer when instead of tipping a girl on stage, he BURNT her with his cigarette (on purpose). WTF?? And the guy who grabs at your kitty NONSTOP, he doesn't care. "defend yourself". We don't have bouncers during the day, just one wimpy manager. SHOULD I FEEL SAFE?????? My other managers say they've heard him say he, "gets scared when bigger customers come in because he doesn't want them to start anything".

I am starting to really hate this club, from the rules.. the girls.. the low-quality clientele and lack of money. (hardly making $75 a day) THANK GOODNESS I'm moving to Atlanta in a month and a half to flee all this bullshiiiiiie. Any words of encouragement?? Does anyone think I have a right to vent?? I WORK WITH IDIOTS. lol *another deep breath* Okay, I'm done.. thanks for reading. *hughughug*

of course you have a right to vent! i had to deal with a similar situation too, where management/"bouncers" were defininitely not on dancers' side. still don't know what on earth we were tipping out for. they would just sit on their fat asses, ogle girls, one had a serious groping problem, and if trouble arose they would magically disappear. only to appear with their hand out at the end of your shift. i really wish in clubs like these all dancers would just collectively quit. especially if money is nothing to brag about anyway...

glad to hear you're leaving the place soon.
