Ok so people wanted me to update on how the work was going--
Well, I worked yesterday (first full day, second day ever dancing), and to find out Tuesdays are "ten dollar dance day"...yay......
NOT going to work those days again! All the cheapest assholes in the world come out there, and a ton of dancers work because it looks "busy." I guess the problem is that I believe a lap dance is worth at least twenty. What do you guys think? The DJ wasn't helping either by playing this five min. long songs all the time.
God, I can really empathise (sp) with how everyone, esp. the veterans feel in this business--putting up with discusting annoying assholes over and over and over....working your ass off.....getting bruised up like hell from working while men claim to be the shining knight who can "take you away from your abusive boyfriend" and the "lifestyle..." or my favorite from yesterday "are you feeling it..isn't it good for you? I can tell you're wet... HAHAHAH
It never felt so good to come home and just lay down on the couch. ahhhh. The money is nice however....
I guess over all it went fine and I made some moolah, but all the uncle pervy's just made me feel kind of, well, dirty. The advice that I've seen has really helped tho--esp like just getting into work mode and becoming --insert stage name here-- for your job. Putting on a huge act really..
Sorry if this was a rant; it just felt nice to communicate with people who KNOW. How did everyone else's v-day go?

As far as my V-day...sucked ass! I was so dissapointed. I really thought more of my regulars were going to come in and show their appreciation. Only one came in, no flowers, no extra tip
The club was dead. After work Valentines was great..my man and I went out to dinner with a bunch of friends and had a terrific time. So at least half the day was good.
