Starting stripping just because you like to play on the pole isn't really a good idea in my opinion. I've been doing this for over a year and I hardly do anything on the pole. Polework is maybe 10% of the job. The majority of this job is hustling and talking to customers. You are off the stage much more than you are on it. Most people start dancing for the money, and I guess some people may have other reasons, but unless you think you can talk to the customers, do private dances, and hustle, this job isn't going to be what you're looking for I don't think. It is much more than pole work. You could try the job out and see what you think, but if you are getting in it just because you like doing polework, this job probably isn't for you.
Anyway, welcome to the site. Just look around and read different topics on what it's like to work in the clubs to get a better idea of everything that is required in the job.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.
Try it! Why not? It seems like you're curious, and it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. It probably would end up working out to be a great source of income during school time. Just write out what goals you have now and the direction you want your life to go towards and don't veer from that once you become addicted to dancing & $$$$$.![]()
