Last night was my first night and it was slow... I did walk away with a nice wad(and thats because the DJ was asking everyone if they'd give me 5 dollars while i'm on stage he'd get them a free drink).
Our club is pretty small and I was having problems keeping the conversation going and asking for dances. (I try to keep them talking about themselves) and admiring the other dancers on stage. We have 2 for 1 lapdances so its easy to sell those but after "UPTIME"(they call it) selling dances is next to impossible.
My manager Angela sent me over to two guys that were willing to buy me a drink... One older guy and a college looking kid- freshly married- and obviously never seen another girl's rack but his own at home... and he said I had an "attitude" so I just excused myself back across the room and waited for my set to come up (While I was onstage I saw another dancer approach those two and leave within a few minutes without any $$)
So anyway my questions are these...
What the hell do I talk to these guys about to make them smile and loosen thier pockets? How long should I linger with someone? When is a good time to ask for a dance or lapdance and how should I phrase it?
I'm working tonight and it's supossed to be busier.
