Look in the yellow pages under "consignment shops." They will take in your clotes, and then pay you a cut when they resell them.

The thing with eBay is the listing fees and you aren't guaranteed to sell them without paying decent listing fees. I know it costs me approx. $10 (aud) every time I list anything for sale on eBay. The consignment shop may take longer to sell the items however they generally won't charge you to do so.

Buffalo Exchange - 50% credit or 40% cash I believe on the spot. You dont have to wait for someone to buy it. They put a tag on it if they want it and give you the cash... I go to Crossroads here up north but Buffalo Exchange works the same I believe.

They MAY have a Crossroads Trading Company in LA.... I LOVE the place!

Twice as Nice is pretty useful sometime

And I know what you mean, I get rid of clothes and just go buy more! I'll never make room in my closet

I have soooo many outfits I've purchased & never wore, I don't know what to do with them. I would sell them on ebay but it can be such a hassle if you have a ton of items you want to sell.

I agree, dancers wear too many clothes. You should immediately rectify this situation!

Usually, no... best bet would be to sell those to other girls at the club. At Centerfolds in Sacramento a couple times a year the girls would bring all their 'unwanted' outfits and trade/sell them.

Most of my clothes go to a friend Jolene - college student, single mom... when I moved to HI I gave her 3 garbage bags of clothes including Frankie B, Bebe, Guess, etc and 1 bag of shoes and handbags. I had my girlfriend Sarha give them to her - Sarha said she was so happy she was crying... THATS a good feeling...

I still have bags of stripper clothes I don't know what to do with. I decided against selling them on ebay - too much of a hassle and too expensive. Can't post them here apparently Other online auction sites, from past experience, are crap. And frankly, I don't even want to go into the club anymore. I may break down and go sell them there for cheap just to get them the hell outta my closet! I could use the space!

I give my stuff away (yep, I'm a drunk), but it buys me friends for a while, ha ha
As for selling them, bag them adn price them and go in on a night off, I wouldn't do it when you are working because it takes away from making real money with all the trying on and haggling. Dancers love other dancers clothes since they are different.
Or take a few pics and put them on here, I am always looking for new stuff, he he

Why can't they be posted on here?
And on ebay you can sell them in "lots" or groups, that's how I got rid of a good size bag of clothes. Some chickie spent two hundred on about 10 outfits, worked for me, I didn't want them!

There is some posting limit in the Marketplace now - can't post multiple items for free anymore. It's the same problem as with listing on ebay - if you have to post every item individually and pay for each one it's too expensive.

If you lived here in Alabama, they have a shop called Platos closest and they buy brand name clothing and pay you for them. Heres the link if you want to know more.... www.platosclosest.com

Ok, I just got home from Buffalo Exchange & that is the last time I will ever go. I brought in about 100 outfits(nice, new clothes); they only took 5 & gave me $18! whoo-hoo!! I'm rich! I guess they have to be picky with all the people that come in with their clothes so oh well.

my b/f & I are conservative so he felt really uncomfortable because 3 gay guys were checking him out while we were there.

Does anyone know of any other places in Vegas that buy clothes?
