My fav cheap pick is Queen Helenes Mint Julep Mask... It sucks all the nasty stuff out of my pores and makes them smaller...

I have heard so many good things about Queen Helene's mint julep mask but when I used it, it made my blackheads WORSE...go figure!!!!

Right now, witch hazel helps but still looking for a way to get rid of blackheads..

Wet n Wild liner #666. No really. It matches-like-95% of all lipsticks and is a great filler when you're on the run.

I ALWAYS travel with my Chanel Double Perfection but that may change when I get my Bare Minerals starter kit. I just discovered Physician's (drugstore) Formula Mineral Wear™ Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder and it works really well.

THere are others; I'll have to look...

My favorite cheap beauty products are:

    Queen Helene Mask, definitely
    Dove soap
    Dickinson's witch hazel
Vicks vapor rub (for tired, caloused feet)
Plain old olive oil (to remove eye makeup/moisturize around eyes)
Queen Helene or Wella cholesterol (deep conditioner)
VO5 conditioner (instaed of shampoo. It doesn't fade my color so bad)
    Hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth

I have really terrible, sensitive skin, so everything else I use on it is from Nichole Miller. Thier stuff is reasonably priced when compared to Lancombe, Clinique, etc, but defintiely not dollar-bin material!

I just love that stuff, I haven't used it for a while but I just did last night & it's awesome. I used to leave on my face overnight that works good too.

    Pharmacy Brand Witch Hazel
    NYC Eyelash Curler/Eyebrow/lash brush combo
Bonne Bell Eyeliner in black ink (my favourite liner, and its dirt cheap--a good thing because I have a knack for losing eyeliners)
Maybelline Great Lash (A classic... not as cheap as it used to be but I still stock up during sales)
Cocoa Butter (The kind in a jar near the relaxers is usually a lot cheaper than the bottled stuff)
the entire e.l.f brand ( for the uninitiated, this stuff smells and works awesome and it's only a buck for everything-- http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ )
    Wet and Wild Bronzzzer
Hmm... I'll add more when I think of 'em.

Also-- the brand Andrea recently introduced a line of hair removal products for men, and I guess Shopper's Drug Mart discontinued it at their stores, cuz I picked up two packs of wax strips (usually $10 each) for three dollars. Bonus! So there's a tip there, check out the discontinued section of your drugstore if they have one.

I second that!!! I always buy 3 or 4 of these at a time so I have one in the car, in my make-up bag, at work, etc.

Also, I agree with the other posters on the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask.
It's cheap, it's easy, and it works!

I also love Aveeno Lavendar body wash (great after a tough day/night) and
    Andrea Eye-Q's make-up remover pads.

I am sure there are a ton more. Let me think about it some more and I'll repost.

for everyone who likes 666 w'nw lipliner, check out w'nw bronzeberry liquid lipstick. the matches perfectly and is sooo pretty, ylbb color, shimmery and stays on. went so well with dark blue liquid liner and navy mascara. hard to find now tho. maybe will end up in big lotts eventually, so i can stock up. i used to actually use it on special occasions and use my chanel gloss daily, lol.

speaking of big lotts, i found so much discontinued stuff i used to love when i was there just last week. all under $2. i even found my blush grail L'oreal gel blush. and neutrogena glosses too. and Ocean Potion sunscreen for $2. so go to yours when you get a chance!

Also, the aspirin mask, which I think was a thread topic here before. Just take a bunch of regular, NON-coated aspirin, add some water to make a paste, apply, let dry, and scrub off, and voila! Smooth, soft skin! Very effective and VERY cheap!!!

I like the Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask as well.

I live in Toronto, and i've NEVER seen it here, but I went to a random drugstore (when I was visiting Alberta) and it was there! I wasn't even looking for it either, so it was a good surprise lol.

I also like most St.Ives products. They seem to work well, and they're veryyyy cheap.

Did you sleep in the mask? How long did you use the mask before giving it up? I can't see how using Queen Helene's could make blackheads worse. They are a clogged pore.

I suggest cleansing your face with Dove, St. Ives Apricot scrub (not rec. for sensitive skin) and then Queen Helene's. Sleep in it..as an overnight treatment. Don't sleep on your good pillows though

Mint dries my skin out like crazy, maybe that has something to do with it.
