Control freaks will always want to monitor people. Just that when technology gets cheap, they want to do it in more places. Let's hope that groups like the ACLU will have enough support to squash this Bill of Rights violation. See, the ACLU does have a purpose.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

Great proposal for house of representatives, executive offices of governments and corporations, etc. The greatest crimes of our times are going on between politicians and corporate titans. For the general public, no.

9/11, another excuse to invade privacy, Daley, don't get me started...

Put a tv camera in Daley's office. He's likely to do more social harm than some guys watching a set of tits.

I can understand citizens concern that are entering a private establishment such as a strip club. I truly thought everyone had security cameras anyway, but linking them directly to 911 is a whole different thing. However, I think the requirement in businesses and especially government buildings are completely rational. In my opinion, small businesses are easy targets for crime and endangering lives. The value of a life cannot be too expensive for the cost of a security camera. You would think businesses that have had to call the police three times within one year should agree with the new regulation.
Hey if they wanna put cameras in bars and convenience stores, they should be in all rooms of the white house too!!

*cough* 1984 *cough*
c'mon, seriously here, i doubt terrorists are gonna chill in a strip club. a cool girl, like our colleen here, might say something intelligent to them!

Well let's think about this. Suppose you are a Chicago businessman / husband who told his wife he had a 'business dinner' and is out with a client from a big corporation ... do you really think people like this want the fact that they are patronizing strip clubs becoming a part of the 'public record' ? Having all of these videos on file and available via a Freedom of Information request should save divorce attorneys and private investigators a whole lot of work, though !You would think businesses that have had to call the police three times within one year should agree with the new regulation.
