When you're ready, let me know. I'll help.

Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

This is when they should issue "get out of jail free" cards to people like us.

I regret that I watched the preview. I'm so glad I don't have cable right now. Shit like that makes me very homicidal.

Better that people know shit like this is going on. Not that everyone isn't damned well aware of it anyway, but out of sight out of mind. They should put stuff like this on more often, maybe then more people will get off their asses and help put a stop to it.

omg that video almost made me scream! they said that some of the dogs could be peoples lost or stolen pets! i couldn't even imagine what i would do if that happened to my dog. god that got me really depressed...i feel people like this should get the exact treatment that they gave to the animals, beatings chokings and living in their own filth.

oh god. i wish i wouldn't have watched that. i'm a little emotional right now(understatement of the year.) That makes me so sick. Why would people want to do that to those poor animals???

i won't be able to watch that show b/c i too will want to go kick some ass. Those that hurt animals should be tortured the same exact way they hurt those poor helpless animals

I always say the same thing...whatever was done to the poor helpless animals should be the exact punishment they get!! I am SO mad right now!! The punishments for animal abuse are so lenient. There have been alot of animal abuse cases lately here in NYC. Seems like a new one everyday makes the news. It makes me sick.

Here's a positive story from this week. It was good to see an asshole get busted, I hope he gets a long sentence and rots. He was performing surgeries on peoples pets and wasn't even a vet!

Look what NYC cat dragged in: A vet ruse

Undercover kitten helps catch student accused of treating pets without a license

    By Tom Hays
    Associated Press
    Published February 9, 2006

NEW YORK -- He came from the streets of Brooklyn, a cool customer on four legs, the perfect bait for a sting on a fake veterinarian.

    Meet Fred, undercover kitten.

Authorities on Wednesday introduced the 8-month-old former stray cat that posed as a would-be patient while police investigated a college student accused of treating pets without a license.

At a news conference, Fred sported a tiny badge on his collar as he posed for photos with owner Carol Moran, a prosecutor.

"He's pretty easygoing, a real Brooklyn guy," Moran said.

Fred shared the spotlight with Burt the Boston terrier, an alleged victim of Steven Vassall, 28, who was arrested last week and released on $2,500 bail.

Burt's owner, Raymond Reid, contacted authorities after the dog survived a botched operation. In hindsight, he said, he should have been suspicious of a veterinarian who only made house calls and treated animals at an undisclosed location.

Vassall "seemed like a genuinely nice guy," Reid said. "I'm glad they caught him, but at the same time I feel sorry for him."

Last week, an investigator posing as Fred's owner summoned Vassall to an apartment rigged with a hidden camera. Authorities played a videotape at the news conference showing the defendant saying the kitten could be neutered for $135.

Vassall was arrested as he left the apartment carrying Fred in a box and cash for the operation. Investigators later recovered a price list for vaccinations and other procedures, including surgeries.

It was unclear how long Vassall--who once worked as a laboratory assistant in a vet's office--allegedly scammed pet owners before Fred helped put him out of business.

Joyce Clemmons of the non-profit Animal Care and Control, which rescued Fred, predicted the kitten had a future in law enforcement.

"He's going to be the detective for the animal world," she said.

Default "Dealing Dogs" on HBO tonight

I thought all you dog fans might be interested, although I'm sure the content of this program will be undoubtedly disturbing.

I kind of want to watch it, but don't have HBO.

I know it will be hard to watch. I'll be balling my eyes out but I kind of want to see what's going on so I can help stop it somehow. If I can handle it I might watch, it's just going to be very disturbing and hard for me.
I was in a Petco today and they had 4 dogs who needed homes. I cried. I want to save them all. I gave money to help them. 2 of the dogs were 5 years old. So sweet. Beautiful purebreds. So sad to see a 5 year old dog in a cage needing a home.

ooooh I don't know..... I think I'm going to watch it, but I'll probably regret it. One of those things where I want to see it, but it'll probably ruin my night off....

I watched it. It was beyond words horrifying. The kennel owner, wife and 2 daughters lost their license. Paid a quarter million in fines, and he could spend up to 10 years in jail. I'll put it this way....that is too fucking kind of a punishment.
The thing that was horrible to see was the USDA who is supposed to be inspecting these places doesn't do their job and millions of animals die. And the red tape/paperwork take forever to bring a scumbag down. But at least he's finally down. One down many to go.
Luckily hundreds of dogs got saved and all adopted out once all his property was seized. It took years to bring this asshole down and he was very blatant in commiting crimes.
There are a few groups of people, or shall I say monsters that deserve torture. This man and the ones who worked for him ALL deserve to have done to them what they put these innocent dogs through. Torture like you can't even begin to imagine. And I wouldn't feel guilty one bit. These people are not human, they are monsters who have no remorse.
One thing they didn't follow up on at the end was what happened to the guys who worked for him. They were just as evil and I don't know what kind of punishment they have if any.
Animal cruelty does not carry stiff enough charges.
