Feature costumes for sale!
I don't think it really works. I have been using proactiv for several months and it has pretty much stopped working for me. I tend to break out really bad in my t-zone area. I don't really know what you can do for acne other than keep you face clean and try to eat healthy.![]()
i dont see many demonstration or before/after pics hmmm
Taking 5-10 grams of B5 (Pantothenic acid) helps ALOT. Take that amt each day until it clears up.Originally Posted by greenidlady1

^ya know, I've actually been reading about this and am going to rite-aid this morning to buy a couple bottles of b5.
If you google pantothenic acid and acne, you'll get all sorts of hits. I'm actually going to try looking up any info in my school library's database to see if I can find anything. There was only one study done that I'm aware of but maybe I'll find it or something else of interest.
Oh, and just so you guys know, the pills come in 500mg doses so 5-10 grams is 10-20 pills a DAY.
oh, and to answer you question Scarlett, I've heard of it but never tried it. There has been some discussion of it on other boards that I follow and it does seem to work for some people. Basically, if they feel a zit coming on and use the zeno, then it just goes away. It probably works best for the occasional lone pimple, not to clear up a moderate break out. But I don't really know.

Here is a discussion regarding the zeno. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view the entire thread.

For get all that crap on your face. Forget Proactiv. Your body needs balance when it has acne, not drugs.
Go and find a muslim store, or an African store in your area or go online to :http://www.nasabb.com/nasabbnew/blacksoap2.htm
It's called African Black Soap. It looks weird but it will clear up skin conditions like you wouldn't believe and is for all types of skin.
Wash with it then put some pure whole leaf Aloe Vera Gel on.
You will see guaranteed results in a few days. Stop confusing your skin will all that medicinal crap.

pantothenic acid, tea tree oil and witch hazel are good too. Natural is best. But if all else fails try 'above'.
That battery operated thing is an obvious gimmick. I hope some people buy it and waste their money. It will teach tham a lesson on being too gullible. lol.

^^ooh, i'm ordering a sample pack of that soap! thanks for the link!

i heard that zeno thing was a waste of money.

I have porbably had every acne treatment known to dermatology, and i never heard of that. You would think one or more of the doc's I've seen would have it.
Cutting out white flour seems to be working best for me.

My answer to acne? Clindoxyl gel. It's a mixture of peroxide and clindamycin...I put it on my skin every night and wash it off in the morning, and I haven't had a pimple or blemish in a year! It's a bit pricey, but you can make it last. A good solution for people who have bad (peely) results with retinols and other topical anti-acne medications.
