I may personally not always agree with Greenpeace or 'how' they act however this petition I can definately support. Whaling is not really needed nor required these days !!![]()
Save the Whales. Say no to Sealord.
Sealord is a seafood company that makes millions of dollars selling tinned, frozen and fresh fish in Australian supermarkets and fast food restaurants. Sealord is 50 per cent owned by Nissui, a company directly linked to Japanese whaling.
Nissui is a major shareholder of the company that operates Japan's whaling fleet. Nissui also markets and sells whale meat throughout Japan.
Shop with your conscience. Say no to Sealord.
Pressure Sealord to end whaling
Greenpeace is putting pressure on seafood companies globally to end all associations with whaling. With your help we can show them that whaling is bad for their business.
Our campaign against whaling companies has already had some incredible successes. In Argentina, Greenpeace supporters convinced a popular seafood company to cancel all of their contracts with Nissui. Concerned supporters sent 21,000 emails to the company, Santa Elena. As a result, Santa Elena agreed to cease business with Nissui.
We can achieve the same goal here in Australia.
Ask Sealord to help stop the hunt.
Sign our petition.
The whaling ships are still out there, killing hundreds of minke whales. Next year, they will target endangered fin and humpback whales.
Greenpeace was able to delay the hunt and save whales in the Southern Ocean this year. Now it's your turn to join our campaign. Help us stop the hunt forever.
PLEASE FORGIVE ME AS THIS PETITION IS FOR AUSTRALIANS ONLY
